||the deep lore is it is all a virtualization inside a computer in the last stages of coredumping itself to death. This is why the "barriers breaking down" is constantly brought up, "glitches" can be found on anomaly planets, etc. The deeper into the corruption the program gets the more deviation you get from the topical lore and the more it would become like an acid trip.||

First staff you see is the "planet" staff, yoy need to access the "Terminal" staffs". Reject it but don't back out of the menu. Swap the head component with another. Keep doing that with each head you have.

Also if you dont like any of thosr staffs, move to a slightly different position around the terminal or on top of it and repeat. You can do this at each terminal for diffrrent offerings.

Fly there manually, you will see a big bright ball in the center of the overall galaxy map, head there. Use black holes where possible. It is a LONG way.

Progress in the storyline until you can use portals and have sufficient glyphs unlocked. Use a portal to jump to a system next to the center. Then fly through the middle.
