if you're not permadeath you can go into options > difficulty > crafting and set it to FREE then build your corvette and "purchase" it and then change crafting back to Standard if you don't want to go through the scrap grind

Corvette refiners will reset if you at all modify the corvette while it´s refining as it does a refresh of the corvette when applying edits made to it and the redraw basically deletes anything in the refiner

Uninhabited systems don't have space stations, you will notice on the galaxy map that star does not have an icon for its predominant race, those won't have space stations at all

Likely they are "rare" or "uncommon", so on top of having to find caves you have to find ones with appropriate spawns. So it just takes time.

Everyone is all in the same universe, regardless of if they join off you or not. When a friend joins you, they get loaded into the same star system and added to your 'squad'. That means a few extra things will be synced and you can keep track of them with some extra markers. You're all on the same servers either way.

The way they get the total number of flora and minerals is super broken, you shouldn't worry about it too much. Total fauna count should always be correct, though (and that's the only one you get an extra reward for finding all of)

Freighter is independent from starships, you can't actually pilot freighters, they are more like your base in space

Your first freighter encounter happens after you perform 5 warps, then goes on a 3 hour cooldown where it cannot trigger again, then again after 5 warps

Warp = travel to another star with your ship

do that 5 times, you will get a notification that a ship in front of you is under attack by pirates, defeat the pirate ships, and the saved freighter will offer itself to you

Any ship you see flying around a system will show up at trade posts and the station. Can purchase them there

understandable! finding a newer planet while leaving your old base would be advisable. Once you have a new home.. you can always go back and delete the cold planet base

Just to add to this, if it‘s an exotic you‘re looking for you might need to spend several hours waiting (or reloading) until it spawns.

To some extent yes, staves are defiantly smaller with smaller models, but they defiantly don’t scale at the same rate as the player
