Been a Switch 1 player for a while and recently got myself a PC, started playing and built a corvette and got a settlement. Does anyone know if the earth will implode if I save on my corvette then go back on my Switch with Cross-save enabled?

What I "prefer" often depends on what I am doing. If you're hunting S class freighters you really don't want to be riding your corvette for example because it ruing your ability to reroll. If you're fishing for all legendary fish, likewise my corvette would not be my ship of choice, etc.

Floats too far above the water even when landed on it and the exit ramp is a small place, doesn't offer you much room to move around so I can't cast my line very far or in a wider area...since many fish are mostly only caught at certain depths you need room to move and to cast your line further to probe the depth and find where to best catch what you need.

You can't teleport between pirate and regular systems.

Otherwise you could just portal to a normal system and sell your contraband with no risk.

There are plenty of dissonant planets and systems among the yellow, red, green, and blue star systems. In the galactic map they all have orange text descriptors...many will say "water" but some will say "dissonant". But uncharted systems won't have interceptors and neither will dead or exotic planets in populated systems so not all dissonant systems and planets have interceptors.

When I find a 20+ mould spot I like I put up walls and a platform to mine them from above so I don't have to chase them

If you bounce from one end of the short range teleported to the other the curious deposit will respawn immediately. But you have to chain together 2 teleporters for the distance

You can just teleport out and tp back. But the short range tp method is quicker

In No Man’s Sky, if you want to switch to third person view while flying your ship, you just:

Open the Quick Menu (press X on PC or Down on the D‑pad on console).

Go to Utilities.

Select Switch Starship View.

That toggles between first person cockpit view and third person external view.
