Probably because you have too many weapons on there. I only have one weapon....you can only properly soup up one anyway since it needs all 4 SC slots to be maxed. So max of 4 swap clicks if you have the fishing rod on there too...but you can either keep that packed up or just installed on another MT for fishing.

Put all 4 SC slots into scanner tech too...my scan range is like 7,700 or something...but that is functionally useless, doesn't do anything. But my fauna scans are nuts. Like 780k for a rare creature...soup up with nutrient processor and 38 million for a rare creature lol. You can legit get to max ships and MT slot just with a solid scanning MT and a nutrient processor.

Found a really unique giant...radioactive biome, all the land is is in veins of extreme cliffs and literally all of the flat area at the bottom is water...like really dense walls made of narrow mountains with slim canals of water everywhere. Purple systems are either dissonant or gas giant, I haven't seen any that isn't, a giant planet only spawns in a dissonant purple, but not all dissonant have giants

Yeah I know, purple star systems are either gas giants or dissonant, and non-gas giants can only be in dissonants, but not always guaranteed to have one, unlike gas giants guaranteeing gas giants

i played about 70 hours total, new player here too, enjoy your time, explore, whenever you feel like things are getting repetitive, do primary questline, it gives you more interesting stuff, allows you to reach more rare materials, giving you more options to enjoy your time
