Actually my brain works very differently, unless my staring spot helps with getting towards the end, I nearly always jump to the point where my goal is, and not bother with the starting points. If I need to upgrade to higher rank spots to scale up, I would jump to that immediately, and not spend the time setting up the lower rank spots

If you take a moment to use your head. You can first set a foundation area and then PUT walls down so they make it look SOLID. THEN you can build ON the flooring you have created.

They are complex products. It takes 3-5 bases to automate everything you need to craft them. Takes a lot of time, planning, and effort to set them up. But let me tell you, once you have a set of farms set up to make 120 of those babies per day, you can buy anything. I make ~1.8 billion per day and keep a storage container full of them. When I get a new ship or multitool I can immediately blow billions to max out all the slots like it's nothing and I'll have the stasis devices back in a few days.

I don't know what other people do but when I get food from other players I typically delete it. I make specific foods for nutrient processor bonuses myself. I used to make lots of pies to hand to Cronus for nanites...but that was before runaway mould farms were a thing.

I typically hoard X class until I have like 15 of something I want. Then I go buy like 100 C class modules(doesn't matter what type) Then I save the game check the 10, if nothing great I reload, install and delete 10 C class modules, save, install and check the 10 etc. With that method I have maxed or near max X class modules for everything. Doesn't matter if I sell them anymore and even before when I wanted to put together a stack, I'd buy from pirate stations.

No. If you just cheat you never learn to value anything...everything is just cheap, disposable trash. You don't even need modules, you can just edit the bonus values of the multitool or ship to something crazy and have it broken without any tech. But then there is no longer any fun anything. If I do that I might as well quit playing the game. The process matters.

I wouldn't do that in permadeath. I have over 6000 hours in my main save. I would not risk that progress for anything. Survival is better, you can have the game be just as difficult, or more difficult than permadeath...but you wouldn't lose everything if you die.

once you get to late game permadeath would essentially just be normal nms with annoying limitations and the constant threat of losing everything you have (no matter how unlikely it may be)

I think you could make a custom difficulty where death is permanet but you have full stacks of 9,999. You'd have to start a new save as I don't think you can turn on the permadeath tag after starting but it should be doable. I wouldn't recommend you do that because then if something happens your progress can go poof but you can.

I don't know if that's a good idea. Not sure if a death title unlocked by dying in permadeath would even be awarded to your profile. Your save gets deletes so you don't respawn to see the title unlock...soo...do you get it?

Yeah, there's two options at the end of Artemis quest, two options at the end of the Atlas quest, and three options at the end of the autophage questline...getting all of them was a pain lol. I messed up the option to deny the Atlas at the end of the Atlas quest on my first attempt so I had to do a 3rd playthrough for that lol.
