That is your problem, if you don't know the planet/system and didn't leave a save beacon which you can see from space, there is no good news for you.
Go to the space station, right side is the trade but the left side as you entering the station has a teleport, if you visited the space station where that planet is located, you can easily teleport to it.

But still, assuming you find the planet, I have no idea how you are gonna find a broken corvette in there without any mark like a save beacon.
Swapping to another ship, automatically makes the previous ship to don't be active so the scanner will never "see it".

You are not understanding it 😅
If you didn't add anything to track you back to that planet, there is nothing that can help you.
Being populated does not mean anything if you cannot access it.
For future reference, always visit the space station allowing you to teleport back to it, as for the corvette, get used to leaving save beacon behind as you can see it from space and engine pulse to it.

That is what I said earlier, you don't.
Once you die in NMS, all of your cargo is lost with it, you should have used the save to reload to the last saved point before you died.
I died once in the game when I started, both my exosuit and ship cargo were lost.

That's good for a corvette. Corvettes are not one stat ships so SC slot placement really isn't that critical. Imo it is best to spread your SC slots in 3 techs. Personally I like to put 2 in main weapon because corvettes at S class have at most 30% damage bonus, which is really not great so helping the damage output of my main weapon is a priority, then corvettes have the highest shield bonus potential with up to +125% so I like to put 1 SC slot into main shield tech, and the last SC slot I like to use to help its hyperdrive range a bit and almost 3200ly is pretty damn great for a corvette. Best all purpose ship I have...not the best at anything but best combined stats with no weakness:

Basically, you place your actual mods with as much touching sides as possible, and place the most useless tech with the least bonuses on edges/angles of the square(usually you go for a square)

Place the core tech itself out of the square but still touching it

Overcharging a Medusa/cockpit does a crap ton of maneuverability

The difference between how my 800 maneuverability haulers turn and how a 2k maneuverability ship turns is basically nonexistent...maneuverability stat boosting is a waste. Hell I have 5 free tech slots in my 800 maneuverability haulers that I could use to install more ship trails to boost it more but it's a waste and I rather have the trail color I want visible than something else.

The beams will be balanced...HG constantly rebalance that stuff. Building your ship on a broken weapon is not good and maneuverability doesn't help speed...only engine power does. The main pulse drive and the one blueprint that gives +30% engine power are all that increase speed...you can max their connection bonuses and supercharge them but everything else does not help speed.

Pulse speed is all that matters because NMS has insane rubber banding that makes sure you will NOT out-boost enemy ships, at least not if they are not distracted by anything else. All my ships easily and by far outboost enemy ships but the game automatically increases their boost speed to keep up with you no matter what....even at 2k+ maneuverability they will always keep up.

But it took me a lot of moving the techs around and the parts since the parts on the outside will kill your manoeuvrability count.

Also, you should focus on finishing the main storylines until you get access to the purple stars systems.
Many things are locked behind progress, enjoy the game but try to leave the exploring bit after the above.
But I didn't finish the main storylines until I had 180h of just exploring around.

The biggest danger with PvP in NMS is that some community base are built as death trap, once in you will run out of resources to heal.
In some bases, they are built in a way that after dying, you are spawned within the base dying in a loop.
So avoid PvP until you know about the hidden dangers that comes with it.

1. Dissonant system, dissonant planet, dissonance resonator(mob), come close, look if its inverted mirror or echo

2. When found Echo, kill resonator and run away from sentinels, use echo, find dissonant camp, break code, lift lockdown, check sentinel multitool

3. Repeat 2) until find a good one you like

4. Get sentinel multitool, fix sentinel multitool, install a second mining beam on sentinel multitool, profit.

in general it's not a good game for fair pvp, so you would only turn it on if it's someone you trust

Not really anywhere, 3 star economy system if you wanna find them easier and even that, there is a whole happy potter thing you have to do to spot them.
There is a new way but still too much work and personally, I never really saw anything special with exotic ships so I never bothered to take them.

trade outpost - save beacon on top. you can see the ships fly in/around before they land, can save/load way faster than space station or waiting for them to actually land at the trade post. farmed a bunch of squids and so many balls i just ignore them now

They are the rarest but there is no whole thing to find them. They show up. They are only rare because they are a fixed configuration, so there is only 1 variation, aside from color/pattern.

Very personal preference but......
Space Station guild farm, any other way will take you forever because you will only get one part very hardly ever either by exploring crashed freighter on planets, or shooting freighter cargo within pirate controlled system or sending frigates on expedition.
With guild, you warp from system to system to collect if for free.
