i just grabbed these mods today, theres so much stuff in there and a lot of it works 100% fine. some stuff is missing or doesnt have snap points but for the most part it just gives you a ton of decorations to mess with

If you don't already, get gBase Scaling so you can make things really tiny or big

one to watch out for is Ultra Base Building, i tried it out and it places objects that can't be deleted, had to reload

There is a delete enabling thing on the mod page. But yeah, UBB can be troublesome

Also UBB and Eucli-ea parts will auto-delete if you load your save without the mods installed

yeah i copied my main save and gave it a modded tag, though the way things are laid out in the menu makes it easy to do vanilla builds i really dont have to swap back and forth

I think you can get emeril from the damaged machinery that comes from buried caches or suspicious tech packages.

You can get various stellar metals in different ways.

• Frigate fleet expeditions
• Random loot from depots
• Starship upgrade disassembly

I got my hands on Cadmium, Emeril, and Activated Indium in the current expedition save, without ever going to a non-yellow system.
Which kind of sucks because I need regular Indium for the freighter warp drive upgrade I have... XD

The starship upgrades you take apart can be store-bought, they can be loot from pirates, and they can be upgrades installed by default on NPC ships. I think the higher-class upgrades have better stellar metals in them. Not all the upgrades have them, mind.

Also remember that the quantity of stellar metal you get doesn't matter much, since you can always make more via chromatic expansion in a refiner.

I really need a good mini base design that basically has a teleporter in it. But works for my corvette. I hate jumping into my corvette and it get stuck on the building and crashes needing tons of repairs, or getting stuck half in the ship when teleporting in.

That actually makes sense because it allows you to easily transfer from your Corvette to one of your legacy ships off your freighter easily. Or vice versa.

Build your little mini base however you like. But when you set up the teleporter and base computer make sure that where you exit the teleporter is facing your base computer. And there is nothing built in between the two.

This should make it to where your Corvette always spawns between your teleporter and base computer. Not meshing into you or buildings around you.

We can move our base computer freely around our base it's really not that much of a redesign of her. You just have to face your teleporter in a certain direction and make sure your base computer is somewhere in front of it.

It would be hard to make a corvette landing pad since they can be so big. I would be happy with a special beacon that would determine where your corvette hovered over at your base.

From the looks of it they have like three options they can use. But determining which is the best option that doesn't break our game further is the deciding factor.

They could just make a Corvette landing pad. But at the same time it would be the single biggest Base building item we've ever put down. And would be hard to incorporate into mini base builds.

The teleporter option could work. But guaranteeing that your teleporter in your Corvette will always connect to the teleporter in your base doesn't sound like something this game is able to do consistently. Every single time you go to your base. Strikes me of something that it would get right sometimes but not all the time.

Then there's just landing your Corvette nearby when you teleport in. But then it's having to avoid every physical asset and potential collision in the area. And for the size of some of these that may not be possible.

When you're talking about water physics that stuff is often hardwired into a game's engine. Them introducing proper wave physics was them hamstring that in there. I imagine flowing water and water sources are even more difficult.

They started in 1.3 Atlas Rises 2017 and mainly did it in 1.5 NEXT 2018 but they turned terrain gen wildness WAY down and made distinct biome worlds. I loved the pre-NEXT terraing gen. (I still play 1.1 Foundation on the side on PC from time to time.)
