Most games. Especially when there's several platforms and not all of them can support/access/handle some things that are basic on others. The worst is dealing with a game that releases an update/patch and has to pull it back a matter of days later.

The files are packaged in clumps, so let's say you have 300 files in one PAK compressed file, if you change one of those 300, you have to download the whole PAK again

It helps with compression algorithms, to give them more to work with, but hurts with changes to one or two things. The trick is finding the balance for compression and frequent updates

There can only be one freighter base and it has different build access than land bases. Corvette bases you can have as many as you can have corvettes (12 right now); there is a save file link between a base entry and a ship entry. So it's more like a land base than a freighter base
