What i did for my second ship, is I got a few upgrades to the Radiant Pillar to make it better at combat (still a C class tho, just more weapons) and then i fought the sentinel dreadnought in space to get the sentinel interceptor

So what's the best weapon for ship combat? Right now I'm just using the phase cannon, but it seems pretty weak on the Solar. Takes a lot of shots to punch through shields.
