I only just got back into the game after years and I'm happy there's so much new stuff. But... am I understanding this correctly that a whole bunch of storyline is in the expeditions and I just can't play the past ones? And even the whole second part of a storyline with the singularity expedition going by how they describe it?

I was just a bit scared off by how they describe singularity as the second part of a storyline. Makes it sound like if I can't play the expedition I can't really do that whole storyline? nah they're like ....side storys to the big story , they add small details here and there

but the meat of the story is in MSQ and side quests

some also have unique stories of their own to introduce new gameplay
