I found a planet with green trees and grass, blue water and skies, and a moon with bubbles. The planet has ancient ruins. There’s also an atlas station there. It also has a mars like planet in the system. and I have been sitting on it since worlds part 2 dropped and I have kept it a secret hoping that years from now someone would come across the few builds I made. I logged on today and saw someone else found it on there own and made a base there so I’m debating just giving out coordinates if anyone else wants to build

These ships have a tendency to hit invisible objects and spiral at light speed right after

Spaceships has multiple classes but are the smallest ones, freighters are the biggest with a base inside but you can’t control them like corvettes or spaceships, and frigates are the second largest always near your freighter and can do expeditions (automated stuff that gets you rewards or damages the frigate) but you can’t control them

they have their own construction area at the very front of the station in front of the regular landing pads (the construction area also functions as their landing pads)

unlike usual ship construction these ones are built more like bases

a lot more manual input on what you want it to look like

I've seen the newest update and it has a heavy multiplayer focus but now I have a question... Has multiplayer been reworked and stabalised? In the past, what put me off multiplayer in NMS was getting into a group, going out on a mission from the Anomaly and then a desync happened. We would go to a planet to kill worms and one player could see them while others could not despite being at the mission marker.

Nms has become my most played game on steam, it got me a gf, it has provided over 600 hours of fun to me, i love it so much. A mobile base like this is always what ive wanted, and the fact that they're custom-built makes it even better. nms holds a special place in my heart

General rule I use for habs

Ambassador for anything life amenities
(Bedroom kitchen etc)

Titan for any of the usual work stations you’d see from any other base
(Living wall and viewing port)

And thunderbird being for more industrial purposes
(Probably something near the room, storage and refinery)
