Steam counts time the .exe was running. Time on main menu counts too. Technically if your game crashes shortly after you start it, it can add time to the registered playtime.

NMS Play Time you see on your save is a different timer. It counts time you spend playing on that save.

As long as you have teleport receiver installed on your frieghter, anything in frieghter inventory will be available to you anywhere. To access the the seperate buildable storage rooms, you need to build corresponding storage box near you

as long as you have the right # storage box in your base, you can remotely access them without having to call your frieghter to whichever system you're in

My first freighter was a cheap commercial S tier with 15 cargo slots and 8 tech slots, but now I've just disabled my first pirate freighter and is a C tier with 28 cargo slots and 15 tech slots. I don't understand how to measure the quality of it, also considering that the base inside it already contains all the cargo rooms and so what is the meaning of the cargo slots?

Different class of frieghters have different max capacity for cargo slots and s class have 4 supercharged slots, and that's about it. The initial cargo and tech unlocked slots vary a lot.

If you've got cross-save between PC and Xbox, you can try getting it through a save editor. I recommend #nms-modding for help with save editing.

If there's one thing I'd love for this game to have, it'd be more community involvement on an in-game level.

What I mean by this, is that nobody every types or chats in the Anomaly, it's kind of a bummer. I'm always asking how people are doing today/trying to get pet-shows or ship-shows going impromptu or just casual chats about whatever and nobody ever replies... like, ever.

Maybe an in-game guild system so players can make their own factions and more easily organize base building together, etc etc?

I'd love to be able to actually see an active chatbox on one of my hauler's monitors, how sick would that be?

True. Issue for console players is HG hasn't made game-chat available, even for consoles that do support keyboard. Maybe it's something to bring up to HG via their Zendesk as a proper game suggestion

One of my favorite things in gaming was the greenchat box for guilds in WoW (I haven't played in years, but yeah).

I'd say sentinal interceptor personally cause yeah solars are more fuel efficient but they arnt as strong in some aspects

Well no, the stats I assume are correct but it annihilates shields and it literally finishes overheating faster than it cools down so it's advisable to overheat it instead of let it cool
