Regular starships and freighters require hyperdrive tech upgrades to be able to reach RGBP systems. An Atlantid Drive (Starship) or Resonance Matrix (Freighter) will cover all systems; there is no need for the previous drives to be installed other than a boost to range (most notable for the Freighter). Living ships only share the Atlantid Drive requirement to reach purple systems.

❗ To reach purple systems, completion of the 'In Stellar Multitudes' mission is required. Obtaining the required drives in any other way, will not work (unless current save is an Expedition17 converted save) .

Note: There's no information in game files that proves the host star temperature and oddities have any influence at all on system planet biome probability chances.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell difference in colors (I sit 12 feet away from my tv) but when you’re in galaxy map, move closer to said star and you should be able to make out which color it is, unless you’re color blind, hopefully they have a setting for that

Personal refiner, put the item you wanna dupe in the left hand slot (refining slot) then back out, and place personal refiners directly on top of another (use the front leg/support as your guide) then once you placed down your desired refiners pick them all up until none are left

x1 for each refiner

6 refiners is x6 whatever you are duping. If you have 1500 copper and put two personals on top of the first, you’d have 4500 copper

You get them by a few ways. Some missions give them as rewards; or you get some by scrapping ships (number is tied to the class of the ship being scrapped if I recall correctly)

⚠️ No Man's Sky - Doing Quests in a group

Playing in a group can cause one or more players to experience issues or bugs when progressing quests, such as the main Storyline. Some of these issues are listed below.

• Waypoints not appearing on the HUD;
• Waypoints moving or jumping planets when you get close;
• Destinations being thousands of lightyears away;
• Quest destinations fail to provide the correct dialogs for the current stage;
• Primary ship getting accidentally reskinned to a different ship;
• Getting trapped on the other side of a portal;
• Getting trapped in a star system without access to both an hyperdrive or a teleporter/Space Station.

Some of the above issues can be difficult or even impossible to fix with just in game steps. Already having access to the Space Anomaly can help in some cases, but it's generally best to ignore quest progression when playing in a group.

📖 Did you know? Also known as The Artemis Path, the main Storyline was implemented before Multiplayer came to be a thing. It is intended to be run solo.

Requirement: playing solo; if you were playing with friends recently, save+reload from main menu after disabling multiplayer.

When the player current position is 4000 Light Years away from current mission location or more, a button appears in the Log tab that allows to restart the last mission stage. Most commonly used ways to trigger it:

• Space Anomaly Teleporter (teleport to a Featured base, check Log tab; retry with different base if needed);
• Warping (e.g. 4 1000LY distance warps in the same direction, but contrary to Current Mission destination in galaxy map);

After getting far away enough, be sure to give the game a few seconds to recalculate distances, then check Log tab.

The main appeal of settlements is once they're upgraded enough they can start producing valuable items for you, among other things. I've owned settlements before, and they can give you a lot of money, but personally I don't like them a whole lot. As for the new update, I'm not sure exactly what it added since I haven't checked the notes yet

@wind sentinel I had some ideas very little so maybe try but entrances in the 4 legs going up to first floor was thing to having 3 or so floors to the top and another idea I could build on electric spot and have those machine s in middle and then try making spiral stair case either going upto the 1st floor or just thinking niw I could make it head up to the top but leaving entrances to getting off on each floors

If you can get a line of dialogue going, Pc can use text chat but console can’t unless in a group and speech to text.

Well, that's pretty much how "trading" in NMS works

You can do it with random people, you could try asking around #nms-lfg-or-trades

But at the end it comes down to walking close to someone in the game, quicktransfering items from your inventory into theirs and them transferring something back (or not if you intended it to be just a gift)
