I was checking how to make a base on a settlement and it occurred to me... since the settlements are kinda treated like a base, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to build on them, at least in the limited way you can build on freighters...

I just wanted to add some plants. 😆

any type of building even if only decoration via settlements directly will mess up glitched bases

if ur in ur settlement and u open the build menu its gonna be the settlement menu rather than the base menu

meaning ur blocked from adding any walls and whatnot [as those wouldnt be in the settlement build menu] unless u move out of town and close enought o the base computer or whatever of the actual base

Yeah the settlement generation can be really wonky. Generally you want to make a restore point before you use Settlement Map. If you dont like the spot reload game and use map from a different spot
