Long answer: the 22Gb are the displayable elements, and then the game on the fly takes your current galaxy and X, Y, Z location and figures out what should go where, and how should it be scaled/rotated/colored etc. as you move about.

I get mine from frigate expeditions. Since settlement upgrades use all kinds of stuff I not longer sell the loot that is now useful, I squirrel it away in my freighter's storage rooms that can be accessed by Matter Beam if in the same system as the freighter.

btw, before using any kind of settlement chart I highly recommend you do a manual save (Save Beacon or Save Point). It will mostly find one on the planet on which you stand, but sometimes takes a few tries, so reload the save and retry until you get what you seek.

That's why I always carry a Save Point, for save and retry for this and other stuff. Note save-and-reload also makes vendors including in Stations reload their wares purchased before the save. Find something you like? Buy, save, and reload, and buy as much of it as you like 😉

working on 1 of my saves that i converted from a Expedition to a normal save. I was trying to get at least a A class capital ship. ive been playing for hours, ive done over 30 dreadnaught battles and gone to conflict 3 systems to defend against pirates. So far, ive only seen C class. Not even 1 B class. Was the system tweaked so i have to do so much of the main story line quests in order to see B class or better. Im not reloaading or using Glyphs from web sites. I dont remember it bieng this hard to even find a B class.

All the other classes get 5% chance
