You want your better modules to have more things next to them. so your hyperdrive in the middle with 4 things next to it, and your S-class upgrades on the sides so that they can have 3 things next to them. the atlantid drive is better up there because it's boosting your s-class module

Yeah you're right I think that might be optimal for interceptors, but regular starships want something else in the middle, because interceptor hyperdrive has a higher hidden bonus. What about s-class in the middle? There's guides for optimal placement out there, but I don't remember exactly

Long time no see. Been extremely busy.
Asking in general because it has been ages since I've looked into this, but what does this part of the map indicate? In particular, I want to see if there are patterns in relation to space station type and the colour of space in a system when looked at with everything else in consideration. More or less the things people usually don't care about or notice. Glyphs can indicate space station proximity to planets as well as following certain patterns in a region in the galaxy, however what I'm most curious about is if there is any correlation at all in regards to all information that can be obtained about a system before explicitly visiting it - star type, economy, race, conflict, dissonance, water bla bla etc. - and the colour of space, the number of planets or moons, and type of space station that'd be there. This is explicitly in regards to populated systems, pirate, uninhabited and abandoned are irrelevant to the question since their stations are either different or non existent. Food for thought, primarily. Want to see if someone knows something I don't about hunting for your ideal system in the most specific way possible. Not in total, but I've spent at least 3 months searching for my perfect system. Everything is RNG, but if I can predict certain aspects of something before wasting my time traveling there, that'd be great. As far as I know, there isn't any correlation in the ways I'm looking for, but there's no harm in posing the question and seeing if anyone knows the answer.

That's what I've been searching for in the background of my mind as I visit systems. I've been making note, and will continue to do so. I'd likely pick up if there was a legitimate pattern, but it could be dependant on region or spectral class as well in regards to if the oddity numbers actually do anything.

Specifically, there's a limit of 402 bases per save file, including your freighter base and one planetary settlement, meaning a maximum of 400 planetary bases. In reality our sun is GV2 so it's the temperature of it etc but in game it's just for immersion etc

Star bulb typically grows on lush planets so go to discovery tab, flora and set to pin it so it will show what systems should have star bulb then it's a case of luck like this one I saw
