What I've learned:
Actual loadout of the Starship doesn't matter.
When you exchange your ship with the pilot, that pilot doesn't actually get your ship. The pilot just get deleted. It rolls a whole new pilot for your ship. This new pilot rolls with new stats, so you can't filter for stats before Exchanging.

Adding oxygen to things usually increases the conversion rate, for example carbon+oxygen= more condensed carbon than just refining carbon itself
