Hi everyone, not sure if this is a good place to ask but, is it possible to build a titanfall bay on the pirate freighter or is the buildable area too far from the edges for that? I wanted to try it out but the base area is a significant distance from anywhere that would let me jump into space. Anyone know if there's a way?

It's not possible to build a drop door like the titanfall bay, but you can glitch build a minotaur summoning station to jump off the freighter.

iirc there is a video on this by someone, not sure who tho. Might need to search on YT.

Right I did see that, I wanted to try it out myself, but the video I saw was someone using the sentinel freighter which looks like has areas where you can jump off the side into space. The dreadnought doesn't seem to have the same access to good spots since the build area is quite far from the edges. Was just wondering if someone knew a way to get it to work on the dreadnought despite that limitation. Thanks!

I used to always add 4 solar panels and 2 batteries, and then learned I was wasting a lot of power (and base parts) unused. I went back and with the assistance of the !power <amount> command in #bot-spam trimmed bases down to the minimum I actually needed.
I place 1 battery down as a readout of the power grid needs even when I used the EMGs, though that is most useful for the tweaking with solar panels.

Why does the animal list on planets show the ones you haven’t discovered and gives you a hint as to what and where they are? But it doesn’t do the same for minerals and plants

Ok so like, I am legitimately so impressed at how well this game integrates AMD FSR. I was so prepared for turning it on to tank the graphical quality like usual but no, it actually works REALLY well which caught me WAY off guard

Though I think only the quality preset is worth it

I was using both quality and balanced and both honestly looked pretty damn good to my eye
