Don't think so. Some systems spawn them in the first wave on space stations (or at least they used to), but you wouldn't know immediately on a new system.
Aside from that...

The trading post camping is the most effective way I guess.

Depends. Higher class gives you higher class tech modules when scrapping; more available storage gives you more money. So depends on what you want

Industrial Surveying is the mission that teaches you how to use the Survey Device I think, it also has an end and goes away

I know the Nautilon one was a lot longer than expected. Especially when as you trying to start it you miraculously become Sentinel enemy number 1 for no reason so you can't get back to your ship and you forget about quitting and restarting your game.

Can someone tell me how after flying to a space station in my Interceptor I teleport supposedly to my settlement to find myself in space above the planet with my settlement in my Nautilon?

I tried to get out and call my ship. Can't do that in space. Afraid I have to reload my restore point from almost an hour ago. So fn annoying.

And after I died it respawned me in the Nautilon again. Really was hoping to respawn on a planet, space station or my ship.

pro-tip : buy and craft a cargo scan deflector for your ship. Forged passports allow you to reset your standing with races as long as you do it within a target races station
