The only option for a door is a bulkhead door. You can't wire up your own door with its own logic. Can't use pipelines to connect harvesters to your freighter cargo or something like a hopper. Teleporter and trade terminal were made entire rooms which is fine but we're restricted to 45 degree angle and can't just place one where ever. The rooms we do have don't have snap to grid attachment points

It's one floor at a time, the cube rooms aren't available so you can't make wide open spaces with interior stairs and catwalks.

Go summon the Anomaly and you can use its Teleporter as I recall. Hmm, I think you can also teleport to your other Bases and from there to your Freighter, but haven't tried lately.

Some of the QoL changes over the years are quite nice. But it's funny how some of the things that they made obsolete are still in the game. Like use the nav data to summon your ship at a trading post, vs just summoning it on the ground.
