Well, go to that planet, open photomode, glyphs for that planet will be in the left bottom corner

Glyph adress is per planet not per system

So if you use those glyphs at a different portal in the same galaxy you should be able to travel to portal on that planet

Every planet has it's own glyph adress

Personally, I’d not waste the shards for nanites, only cuz the likes of Larval/Hadal Cores can refine the same amount of nanites far faster in a refiner. But, considering the abundance and ease of access to radiant shards, you can go ahead either save it up or not, but the one I don’t exactly recommend is refining the Inverted Mirrors, cuz they can be a bit of a trouble to find.

I want a freighter console that lets us dispatch frigates to orbit planets. depending on the type of frigate they can perform various utility functions such as exposing all POIs of certain types - sending a trade frigate will enable POIs that commercial maps find.

The freighter is so nice but the customizability feels so limited

So pretty much in elite you start with the Sidewinder, which is a really simple bad ship that can do basic stuff to get started, right? They also added carriers at one point, which can hold multiple starships and jump with them.

Players would tell new players in the spawning system to board their carrier to "learn" or recieve rewards, and when enough were on they would jump to a star system that is far enough from any of the nearby stars that Sidewinder FSD drives can't reach it. So theyd be trapped in this star system. THEN, they'd outfit the sidewinders with basic mining gear and tell them they have to mine until a certain group quota was met, and then they'd bring them back to a settled system without any payment

each of the scanner upgrades allows you to seach for two things iirc. So you need the right one. or all of them because why mess around

i know the further you go the more POIs you have available to scan from but im not sure exactly

if you do distress signal scan and get a starship one you can just leave the icon there and it won't give you the same type of poi while it's still around

on space stations there is an npc you can trade nav data to. can get by asking NPCs for directions sometimes but its not worth usually unless u just need one right quick
