But on the plus side since I upgraded my multitool with an a or s tier scanner idk because I’m already off my pc. But since then I’ve made over 800k and that’s off of one planet! No. Powering the portal glyphs opens the portal for use but you can only use glyphs you permanently learned and you can't learn them from the portal itself or by powering them there.

shooting a random freigher wouldn't do much, but you can shoot cargo pods to get some loot.
be aware that it will lower your reputation with the system's dominant lifeform and the freighter will attack

you get them from defeating 5 waves on a non dissonant planet

take it to a dissonant planet, turn off the pillar and now you can fly around in your ship shooting the inverted mirrors for free

and since they usually all also spawn with a corrupted quad, shoot the blue cans on the ground to get crystallised hearts

still rare though. i got 25 inverted mirrors before a single heart

but at least its a lot faster and theres no fighting

i don't think there are deposit that you can mine with terrain manipulator, there are deep deposit hotspot tho

If the resource shows up on the resource list there will be deposits. If not that just makes it even more likely that it’s a bug

I don’t know of any other resource that shows up on the resource list for a planet but doesn’t have deposits that can be mined with terrain manipulation
