Playing on Permadeath is such a trill... I went to collect some Storm Crystals and I ended up almost dying... I was literally out of all my hazard protection and on the last health, when I managed to jump into my ship haha. It was a close one. My hands were sweating so much after that. I had to take a short break to chill out hahaha.

As in loosing stuff to perma death ? No not yet - I've been playing it smart (with the exception of the Storm Crystal debacle ) .. Essentially avoiding thing that would kill me for sure:

• leaving the sentinels alone (no fighting against them - I suck at it, plus I don't have too many upgrades on this save, as it's really challenging to get good upgrades (I'm playing on Permadeath+Survival+Abandoned Universe)). That means also avoiding planets with aggressive sentinels
• avoiding vile brood 🙂
  So far I amanaged successfully to travel through the galaxy core several times to reach galaxy Eissentam (10th galaxy).
  I'm planning to build a base in that galaxy and gather enough resources to travel through galaxy core all the way to galaxy 255. Then I think I will switch to just creative mode - I think at that point I will have it earned.

They’re really hard to find, but if you unlock the dredging laser blueprint, you can pin its recipe and then pin the lithium, and it should give you a marker for a system with lithium. Lithium is usually found on water worlds

It works but it’s somewhat inconsistent

Well - I really don't want to be making stops in each galaxy to top up 🙂 I want to go throuhg all 245 jumps as quickly as possible.
One of the challanges in the mode I use which is Abandoned Univers that I slapped on top of Surival+Permadeath, is storage space.
Since you cannot upgrade ship storage space, I literally am using the Colossus vehicle as my mobile bank, where I keep all the materials.

so making the spreadsheet will make it easier for me to manage the storage space I have 🙂

• quit

• change your system's date/time to +24hrs
