Using the Stellarator in the Nutrient Processor plus an upgraded Hijacked Laser in an Atlantid multitool is way overpowered for mining resources. Mining medium-sized rocks is giving me 1000+ units of ferrite dust, for example.

resonators? harmonic ones? you shoot the mirrors guarded by the sentinels. 80% they give mirror and 20% resonator. I suggest getting a atlas tool with runic lens. Those do not overheat, mine the mirror fast and as a bonus got cloaking built in

I finally found the sentinal I wanted on the archive site, set up a base near a harmonic camp, now gonna do the hunt for an S Class. Still gonna keep my current one tho, I got him on the last expedition, when I was just starting the game, so kinda partial to it 😄

I still have the first sentinel I found (I use it as my main ship). The funny thing is: the first ever sentinel I've found was S tier, so I was lucky by getting one of the best ships in early-mid game

yeah, mine was a B tier, but i didn't know anything about anything really. I was on one of the planets for the expedition, was a dissonant one, and pissed off the sents. Fought them off and at the end, got the ping for the spike. Was the first ship I had been able to add to my collection after the starter ship 😄

Once I saw it was an A, I looked up what people said about the diff between A and S in freighters, and determined I didn't really need the extra inventory slots.

yeah I upgraded my staff to S class from whatever it was (I think B) from the expedition. Then I did the "build-a-staff" with the autophages, and tinkered with different sites and layouts until I got the color I wanted, and it rolled an A, so I manually upgraded that to S as well. Now I have a scanning/mining tool, and a "anti-sentinal" tool
