A workaround is to use the DLSS swapper to change the DLSS/FG version, but for whatever reason NMS has the most horrific ghosting I've ever seen from frame generation

permadeath mode forced me to be really careful about my gameplay habits that just dont fly in that mode, I had to be really careful jetpacking and I couldnt just take any fight I wanted, I had to be a lot more resourceful and get a lot more resources, but overall it was a fun challenge and its not too bad if you just want the achievement to just beeline to the core

While I can appreciate how survival giving you smaller stacks, I feel like it doesn't add as much to the game as it just makes any task more tedious. Unlike most survival crafting games, NMS doesn't actually reward you for hoarding in the early game when you have barely any inventory space. So naturally you end up only really carrying what you need to fill your exosuit and craft simple things like microprocessors
