I knew I had a bunch with me, so I gave one to an Autophage, later I met another Autophage that wanted a Spool - but it said I dont have any with me
that was strange cause I thought I had a bunch with me, anyway I called my freighter and put 7 Spools in my inventory for whenever I meet those Autophages.
Later I did meet another one who wanted a Spool - I KNEW I had 7 - I gave him one and the WHOLE STACK of Spools went poof lol

That's probably not deep enough. Not even half a km. Thing I really have to ask is why the surfaces of these gas giants are so shallow? A typical gas giant has a surface 2000-3000 km below the cloud tops. But then again, the planets themselves are very small compared to real world ones.

Just the size is different....but you should be able to catch it. I was getting colossus size often enough to not be an issue at 35u depth. Not notcturnal or diurnal or anything...just fish until you get it.

I've been on this Barren planet for an entire day now trying to catch the Ossified Deinosuchus and all I keep catching is Dragonfish - every single time I get a legendary fish it's the dragonfish...
