What is this "beat"?

The game does a good job of leading you through the mission lines, but you do have to pay attention. Getting familiar with the mission log helps, and knowing you can pin things from the catalog for more guidance. Check your settings and turn off pvp and adjust any of the difficulties you see fit if something is bothering you. Just enjoy the ride
