I would be very interested to know (whether in-house or agency) if the ARG writing was done in collaboration with someone like Greg Buchanan - who wrote the Artemis quest amongst other things.

Fun fact about about making ANOMALY issue 10, we originally got in touch with Greg and reached the point where we sent questions. Some of those questions were in attempt to clarify some deeper lore mysteries. After a little reflection he decided to opt out from the Q&A and said it was best not to go ahead.

I‘ve always wondered what became of him, I strongly believe he‘s the one behind the colossal archive and sentinel pillar lore as well.

He did the Artemis Questline, the Weekend missions and the two things I mentioned afaik.

Though I have no clear source on the latter two, but they really do fit his style.

James Swallow might've been the one for sentinel pillars. I'm pretty sure he did some of the eerie-er stuff, too, like Derelict Freighter logs. I was surprised when I heard he wrote for NMS because I best knew him as a writer for Warhammer 40k

Honestly I think we might have a connection here, depending on how the story swings. The ARG seemingly shows something trying to wake up the ATLAS, and something forcibly injecting itself into its systems. The Hive of Glass seems to be just that- a foreign entity rankling the ATLAS somehow
