Don’t focus on builds for now, focus on playing.
I really recommend playing through till 105 once before actually optimizing — morph and other sets can get through most things that you’ll need to do.
Unless… this is your second or later class, in which case you might be looking to level as fast as possible? Tell me if it is. Otherwise, just do quests, (I recommend the long ones for the lore so you get what everyone is talking about like RoL and Journey beyond), tower of ascension, etc etc.

(Because really, your optimized build will be outdated 10 levels later which is like 1 hour of playing normally)

Especially on your first profile, you should just enjoy the game instead of trying to speedrun 105 -- leave that to your other classes you will be doing if you still play at that moment

Getting back into Wynncraft after a long hiatus. Think it’s worth getting back into it with my existing character or better to start fresh to learn from the basics?

Lvl 82 with loads of lvl 70+ professions

i believe a new character would be best
also, i wouldn't really recommend focusing on professions until level 105, won't be of much benefit and will just make your experience more miserable (unless you really like grinding, in that case go for it, but still wouldn't recommend it)

just curious tho, how long was that hiatus? since the first half of 2024, for example?
