You can't compare the 2. Bobby just allows you to expand your actual render distance past the server's limit and vanilla limit. Distant horizons uses its own chunk rendering system which uses level of detail (LOD) to make chunks further away render with much less quality. Basically you're going to need a ton of RAM for Bobby, while for Distant Horizons you can see much farther but with much less RAM
