I think you just need to be someone that cares about writing and understanding the world around it without needing it told to your face - Writing shouldn't have to tell you everything on the planet.
You need to care about it in it's whole - that's not to say I have an issue with you at all but if you want to understand you need to be someone who is willing to dig down.

Understanding a world is difficult but it's worthwhile, I really think when you become someone who cares a lot about writing you learn to really love the ideas people make up - it's really worth it.
I'd love to see how you feel later down the line when you get through more quests.

Anyone has the ability to learn, it's harder for people that get the B's and shit but all that means is that you've got a few more steps to go up to get to the top - those extra steps makes you stronger at the end of it, I believe.

Someone who has to work to understand like you might will understand more than the people that were there from the get-go, it's a skill to be proud of - you can learn, it's about the right people being around you and the right things you watch and read to learn from.
