Hello everyone and welcome to the first changelog post-release! Most of the changes you will encounter here have been already available during the week!
Along with the changes below, we continue to work on improving overall server performance and we thank every player that has actively been enjoying the game and for being patient with us!
We are aware that there is still a long road of performance improvements to be done and we are actively investigating and putting efforts into improving overall server stability!
Alongside the release of Rekindled World, it was brought to my attention that some players were having their account banks wiped after joining the game. I apologize for the inconvenience and delay in addressing this issue, during this time I was conducting a small investigation and pulling data from our backups to determine the damage caused by it. The results allow me to confirm that from the thousands of players that joined during the release, 267 had their account bank pages over number 2 clipped from their accounts due to having a semi-broken bank state. Since backups were pulled this also means I hold a copy of what these banks contained before joining on 2.1, and even though I can't promise it will be done, I'm willing and already putting efforts into restoring the items lost to their original owners. I understand the inconvenience and loss caused by this issue and we offer our apologies to every player affected by it

🔥 Raid Changes
- Removed Guild Tomes from guild raid rewards, and replaced them with 2 Emerald Packages
- Reduced emerald rewards from raids
Nest of the Grootslangs
- Fixed a bug where the Grootslang Boss wouldn't trigger its death animation correctly, soft-locking the raid
- Reworked the intro animation for the Grootslang Boss
- Slightly reduced the health of the Grootslang Boss' segments. A bigger change to the fight will come later
The Canyon Colossus
- Fixed the bug that prevented the Lava Monsters from dying in the Golem Escort room
- Fixed an issue where archer arrows wouldn't hit the colossus properly
- Changed the boss blue fire attack to be much more threatening. It is now similar to other light/fire beam style attacks like in the Orphion and Annihilation
- Nerfed the boss blue fire attack to do less damage and have a longer windup
- Heavily buffed colossus sword sweep damages. The sword sweep can now be also dodged by jumping over it if your Y position is over 188
- Changed the knockback of the colossus sword swept attacks to be more consistent and slightly increased the size of the safe area in the back of the arena where you can dodge it
- During the colossus sword sweep attack, platforms that are in its range will now be displayed in red
Orphion's Nexus of Light
- Fixed Crystallization not ending properly when Orphion enters his final struggle phase
The Nameless Anomaly
- Made the Void Winds in the boss room always push the player out of them once they take damage
🧭 World Event Changes
- Added 5 new exclusive weapons to Ragni World Events
- Removed Heal spell from Putrifiers in Unsettling Encounters
- Rebalanced all world event scaling across all levels. Give us feedback on anything that feels off after this patch!

- Fixed legacy buttons having incorrect positions on world displays
- Fixed specific items rendering behind the HUD on MC 1.21

- Eroded Speedster's Gambit: Now increases damage dealt every 20s
Nest of the Grootslangs
- Fixed an issue where the eggs in the Hold Room would mistakenly teleport players away from them
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck inside the towers in the Tower Room
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck inside the rising platforms in the Tower Room
- Added a movement spell restriction to the Resource Room parkour
- Increased the health of most minibosses in the Miniboss Room, and reduced damage of the Unfurling Horsefly
- Increased the size of the Shelled Grub's hitbox for getting hit by a hammer in the Hammer Room
- The Grootslang Wyrmling is now less likely to disappear when burrowing

Orphion's Nexus of Light
- Fixed an issue where Solar Shower and Black Hole would desync from Orphion when the server is lagging
- Added knockback immunity to the mites being attacked during the boss' lightning attack
- Updated the Crystallines' chat messages to be clearer and added a subtitle
- The
Crystallizing Remainswill now automatically collapse after 15 seconds if the crystallized player is not rescued - Changed most of Orphion's abilities internally to be less affected by server lag
The Canyon Colossus
- Added a red sigil warning on the ground for when the boss' floating sword drops
- Adjusted the boss' turning from left to right to be more obvious and impactful
- Adjusted the boss' sword stab attack to start damaging later in the animation, with an iron door hit sound as an audible cue
- Adjusted the boss' fist attack to only start damaging after the windup
- Changed the summoning of the floating sword in the boss. It now uses an animation and shoots a particle beam towards the sword to summon it
- Reduced the volume of the boss' blue sigil attack
- Increased the speed of the golem spawn animation in the Maze Room, and the path will now open instantly when the golem dies\
The Nameless Anomaly
- Fixed a bug where players would not take damage from darkness in the Dark Cave Room
- Fixed many issues with the Tree Room teleports not working consistently when walked or teleported into
- Added sounds to the Capture the Bulb Room for capturing a bulb and when a Bulb Keeper spawns
- Added a model for the purple rings the boss can summon
- Adjusted possible Bulb Keeper spawn locations to be closer to the center of the room
- Adjusted Void Holes to never reset during the boss' Watched Phase, but to always reset once the phase ends
- Adjusted the sound of Void Holes resetting during the boss to be more noticeable
- Adjusted particles during the boss' Watched Phase to appear on all client particle settings
- Reduced the health of the Chiropterror by about 30%
- Updated the boss' floating skulls attack:
- The attack deals more damage, but has a 10 tick delay between each hit, so that players can no longer be instantly hit multiple times by the skulls
- The skulls no longer die when they hit a player, only when they do their last charge
- On hit, the skulls apply a negative Healing Efficiency debuff for 8 seconds
- The worms in the boss' Watched Phase will now die instantly once the phase ends
- The Armless mobs in the boss can now be killed
✨ Lootrun Changes
- Fixed an issue with the Astralaus' Comet challenge
- Fixed Canyon of the Lost Excursion (South) exclusive items not appearing in the reward pool
- Increased all Lootrun Camp base challenge amount to 12
- Reduced all Lootrun Camp base mob health scaling
- Tweaked some Canyon of the Lost Excursion (South) mobs
- Changed Canyon of the Lost Excursion (South) Air Boosters to negate fall damage
🧭 World Event Changes
- Added unique models for the Blizzard Fang (from Canine Ambush, formerly Polar Fang) and Infernal Hound (from Infernal Caldera) to distinguish them from the smaller wolves
- Added new items to Otherworldly Exhibition and Incomprehensible Cynosure
- Adjusted Ragni Plains events to spawn much more frequently
- Adjusted Detlas Plains events to spawn a bit less frequently
- Buffed the damage of the boss in the Necromantic Site event
- Changed the description of the Canine Ambush event
- Expanded the playable area of the Corrupt Spring event
- Increased almost all World Event emerald drops, especially endgame events
- Updated the build for one of the Shapes in the Dark world event locations in The Silent Road
- Nerfed some mobs in the Rogue Wyrmling event
- Made some slight scaling tweaks to some endgame world events
- Made some tweaks to some Corrupted Leader boss damages
- Rebalanced many World Event mobs, especially bosses that were previously scaled poorly
- Tweaked the scaling for some endgame World Events. Please let us know if any World Event scaling feels off! We are looking for events that seem too easy or too hard.

- Fixed the Marzban fight in Underworld Crypt

- Fixed a typo that caused Water Mask to not have 10% Healing Efficiency
- Fixed being able to die multiple times on specific conditions

- Fixed an issue with Bob's Lost Soul that can prevent you from getting the Depressing Spear
- Fixed a bug in A Journey Further where an NPC would still "exist" on the path after completion and teleport you around

- Adjusted stats of most Eldritch Outlook enemies to be better in line with new mob stat baselines

- Increased the rate at which damage increases when the boss has a player pinned against a wall
- Players can now be damaged by multiple boss body segments at once, but each additional hit deals less damage
- Greatly reduced the health of the boss' segments, and slightly reduced how much damage they deal to the head when killed
- Most of the boss' attacks should no longer get very slow if the server is lagging
- The boss' Death Spiral attack will now leave stalagmites in its trail
- Added a new attack to the boss which directly targets players
- Reworked the boss' Bilespawn attack to perform multiple quick charges in a row
- Reworked the boss' Cannibalize attack. The attack is quicker, regains more segments, and occurs more often
Orphion's Nexus of Light
- Updated Crystalline minions in the boss to be glowing
- Updated the Athanatic Witness miniboss with a unique model and AI
The Canyon Colossus
- Fixed a bug with the Maze Room where two players could pick up the wings at once
- Fixed a bug where golems could be considered dead after Golem Room had already been completed, failing the raid
The Nameless Anomaly
- Fixed a bug which could allow two players to collect the light in the Dark Cave room at once
- The purple rings in the boss will no longer stack damages on top of each other
- Improved the soul altar in the Tree Room. A message in chat now appears when the void holes close, and players will be removed from the altar if they attempt to give soul when the void holes are open

- Added a new exclusive Item to the Sky Islands Exploration
- Added the Gears, Gigabytes, and Grime remake to The Corkus Traversal
- Added special boss nameplates to all lootrun challenge bosses
- Added a failsafe in case the Darkness Between The Stars challenge boss flies up too high
- Fixed an issue with the Colossus Islet challenge
- Expanded the Astralaus's Comet challenge arena and tweaked movement of the boss
- Updated the Trolls in the Canyon of the Lost Traversal (South) with unique models and AI
- Updated some enemies in the Canyon of the Lost Traversal (South) Troll Den challenge

- Platforms no longer decay when no players are holding them, and instead pause the timer until held
- Failing to cool 5 lava flows will now result in a failed raid
- Elder Astal's health in the Binding Seal Room has been reduced from 10 to 5

🪄 The Character Selector has been Revamped!
We have fully revamped the visual of the character selector to better fit with the style of Rekindled World. The selector has been the same for many years and was pretty outdated, so we used our new tools and knowledge to improve how it looks and works. Unfortunately due to limited space we won't be displaying every single detail but we highly encourage you to check it out in game!
🪟 Character Overview
Joining the game for the first time in your session will always present you with the character overview, a place where you can quickly join the world and also see the latest character you used (or your favourited character!) alongside your pets and your character card. The "scene" where your character is customizable and you can choose one among the ones we prepared, as long as you meet with their rank requirement!

📖 Character Selector
By right clicking on the overview, you will open the brand new character selector. There you can visualize all your currently available characters, edit them, or even create a new one! We also revamped how you can customize your character icon by allowing HERO or higher ranked players to pick a color from a selection of hues and shades (totalizing 45 different options)
🎭 Character Creator
When creating a character you will now be presented with a custom tailored animation that showcases the class you are currently seeing, alongside with a much better customization experience.
⚔️ Guild Raid Bosses
With this update, we have changed the bosses within Guild Raids to be more challenging to fight, with new and unique mechanics.
Rewards from Guild Raids have not been changed yet, but we plan to do so during beta.
⚜️ Parasite Boss
The second half of the Orphion's Nexus of Light boss fight is here! Even though it no longer has control over its intended host, it won't give up without a fight.
Orphion's health has been reduced to balance the addition of a second phase. We are open to further balance tweaks during beta if they feel necessary.
🌿 Tutorial Rework
The King's Recruit quest has seen major changes in this update! We've cleaned up various older elements which weren't up to our standards, reordered certain sections for a smoother experience, and added new sections to introduce mechanics such as loot caves.
Additionally, various other earlygame quests have also seen gameplay changes.
📖 Tome Stats System
In the Rekindled World changelog, we had promised a new system that would give out the stat buffs that Tomes used to give. As the hero beta for that update went on, and after the update had released, we began to feel that we liked the state of game balance without the Base Mob Damage and Base Mob Defense stats present. As a result, we have decided that these stats will not be returning to the game.
While other tome boosts such as Gathering XP may be added for content completion in the future, the confirmed removal of Base Mob Damage and Defense means that many enemies which had received extra stats in preparation for those stats to return must be nerfed. With this update, we have already reduced the stats of multiple bosses. Many other enemies and bosses for content above Lv 60 which had been updated with the new stat baselines will also receive similar nerfs as time goes on.

The Canyon Colossus
- The Boulder Rush and Parkour sub-challenges in the Binding Seal Room now require players to pick up a Flame from the respective challenge entrances to activate the seals. While holding a Flame, players are unable to use spells or abilities, and some identifications (walk speed and jump height) are disabled. Boulders have been slowed by 20% to compensate.
Dev Note: This change was made in order to reduce the viability of skipping the whole challenges with movement spells and should hopefully add a bit more substance to the room. While holding a Flame, you gain increased sprint duration and regeneration, and if you're attempting the parkour challenge, you additionally gain resistance to fall damage and speed 1. Multiple players can hold a Flame for the same challenge at once, so multiple people can still attempt the challenges at the same time.
- Fixed the Platform Room platform bounding boxes being incorrect
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck inside platforms in the Lava Room

Shaman
- Added a new ability: Totem Shove! Casting Totem while looking at an existing Totem will instead shove it forwards, dealing damage to any enemy it crashes into.
- Added a new Summoner ability: Friendly Fire! Hitting your Puppets with Main Attack will cause them to lose 4s of their duration.
Totem now casts significantly faster (Vertical Velocity: 1 -> 0.5)
Dev Note: Due to feedback during Beta, this change has been temporarily reverted. We'll revisit it later down the line when we have more time to adjust it.
- Buffed Totemic Smash (Neutral: 100 -> 120%)
- Gave Puppets a new visual display when their timer is nearing 0
- Attached Crimson Effigies to Totems and removed their timer. This means you will have 1 Crimson Effigy per Totem you have active
Dev Note: This has been done to encourage more summons to be active at once and to remove the need to uproot Totem in order to keep them active. They will spawn on Totem cast and despawn when Totems go inactive. They will not despawn if you recast Totem though!

Hey everyone! This is the second hotfix we are pushing for 2.1.1 fixing some bugs that were found since its release. The previous hotfix was posted on #📫noticeboard which caused many of you not to notice it so I will include its changes here once more and from now on they will be posted here as well for better consistency 🔥

Non ranked players are now allowed to customize the icon for their characters on the character selector being limited to the Vivid shade for each color variation. The rank requirement to use the remaining shades has been reduced from HERO to VIP+

Orphion's Nexus of Light
- Made various adjustments to the Orphion boss fight:
- Orphion's health has been increased.
- Solar Shower and Black Hole now have more consistent projectile spawns, but spawn a little more projectiles.
- Solar Shower's projectiles are now significantly slower and have a less volatile flight path.
- Black Hole's projectile damage has been reduced a lot.
- The duration of the lingering light from Wild Charge has been reduced.
- The Infection Ad Infinitum stages now have a more sensible health distribution.
- The self sacrifice attack of the final stage of Infection Ad Infinitum has been adjusted to not be prone to one shots
- Removed the ability of Pearl Overwatches to buff nearby enemies. (This behaviour was unintuitive since it would also buff the Infection Ad Infinitums and the Pearl Overwatches would never use it to buff enemies but rather hurt the player)
- Made various adjustments to the Parasite boss fight:
- The Parasite's health has been reduced.
- The Parasite's damage has been reduced while it is unlatched.
- It is now easier to jump over the The Parasite's projectiles.
- The Parasite's swipe projectiles will now be fired horizontally if the target is only barely above the ground.
- The Dark Bolts that burst out of a festering player now bounce lower to the ground.
- There is now an indicator for the trajectory of The Parasite's aim when trying to latch onto a player. This windup also takes slightly longer.
- The symbols for click combos to resist The Parasite are now L and R.
- There is now (limited) ping compensation for Parasite's click combo inputs.
- Resisting an attempt by The Parasite to cast a spell now grants 10% progress towards unlatching it.
- The bossbar for being overtaken is now visible to all players and shows the progress towards freeing the overtaken player.
- The Parasite's self-directed Dark Bolts can now only hit the overtaken player. (Due to technical limitations, they are currently still visible to other players)
- Slightly increased raid rewards to account for longer raid runtime:
- Increased Base Aspect Pulls by +1
- Increased Guild Raid Aspect Pulls by +1
- Slightly increased quantities of Emeralds, Powders, and Amplifiers in the reward chest
- Slightly increased drop rate of all Tomes
The Canyon Colossus
- Reduced the duration that the Binding Seal Room's flame collected title stays on screen (5s->1s) and shortened its text
- Added a minimum 10 second cooldown between each of The Canyon Colossus' Sword Slam attacks that destroy platforms, regardless of which way the boss is facing (applies to Normal and Guild Raid)
- Added a warning title for Volcano Eruptions in the Guild Raid boss

- Buffed the Blinding Eye attack in the Guild Raid to be faster and more powerful

Shaman
- Added a new Summoner ability: Commander! Casting Shift+Uproot will rally all active Puppets into an offensive formation around you, granting them increased attack speed and accuracy, and increasing Main Attack Damage for each rallied Puppet. This ability's duration is charged up by attacking mobs with any summon while it is inactive.
- Added a new major Summoner ability: Hummingbird's Song! Casting Shift+Haul will summon several small wooden hummingbirds which rotate around the player and grant increased movement speed and jump height. Casting Shift+Haul again will temporarily send the hummingbirds into "attack mode," in which they will detect and pierce through enemies within range, but will not grant a movement buff while attacking. This ability replaces Shepherd as the Summoner archetype's third Red ability.
- Added vertical and horizontal knockback to Nature's Jolt
- Haul will now target whichever Totem you are looking at (or the last one placed when not looking at any)
The totem that you are currently looking at will always be displayed with a glowing effect for you if you have either Double or Triple Totem unlocked
- Improved the angle checks for Totem Shove and the new Haul mechanic so that they work consistently at close and longer range
- Buffed Puppet Master (Puppet Movement Speed: 0.45 -> 0.6, Puppet Projectile Spread: 1.0 -> 0.5)

🔥 Raid Changes
- Added a Fourth Gambit Slot unlocked with Raiding Master Rank.
This last gambit slot acts as an extra option without extra rewards. You can still take at maximum 3 gambits into a single raid, but there are 4 total to choose from!
- Added Burdened Pacifist's Gambit: For every 1 mob killed, reduce your buff durations by 10% or 4 seconds, whichever is greater.
- Added Arcane Incontinent's Gambit: Spend 5 mana for each main attack you use.

Warrior
- Fixed Radiant Devotee cancelling out Vehement's converter buff

Each hit of Flaming Tongue applies +1.5s of Bleeding, to a maximum of 6s. Haunting Memory will instead apply +3s of Bleeding.
- Added a new Acolyte ability: Sanguine Strike (1 AP). Your Main Attack spread is slightly reduced, and each beam now inflicts enemies with +0.25s of Bleeding.
- Reworked Twisted Tether: Tethered is no longer applied from your Main Attack. Instead, Twisted Tether's effect applies to all Bleeding enemies within range of the player.
- Blood Sorrow now applies +9s of Bleeding to enemies per hit
- Renamed Larger Blood Pool 2 & 3 to Bloodier I and II. Each now additionally increases your maximum Bleeding duration by +1.5s.
- Added a minor Acolyte ability, Deeper Wounds (1 AP), which increases the Bleeding effect's damage
- Made Maddening Roots work with Flaming Tongue
- Switched Commander's trigger to be Shift+Aura
- Puppets will now automatically leave Commander's formation to explode on their target
- Made some general improvements to Hummingbird Carvings:
- The range at which they will return to the player is greatly increased

- Hummingbirds in attack mode without a target (flying around you) will automatically find a target once close enough and start attacking it

🌌 The Outer Void
In the depths of the Void, there lies a strange cluster of floating asteroids and debris, all drawn together by some mysterious unknowable force. The field's gravity draws in all sorts of things - useful scrap, valuable trinkets, and even remnants of the region's past.
The Outer Void is a new endgame money-making source, designed as a more relaxing alternative to Raids or Lootruns! Traverse difficult terrain, scavenging fallen scrap and treasures scattered across the area. Scrap scavenged from the Void can be sold for emeralds or used to craft a variety of items - brand new equipment, as well as special tools to assist in exploration of the debris field.

Orphion's Nexus of Light
- Reworked the Tower Room
- The crystal holder is now required to be guided to a constantly-moving pillar of light, which gives progress towards completing a floor when the crystal holder is nearby. This pillar of light will move faster in Guild Raids.
- The fourth floor of the tower has been removed (3 floors are now required to complete the challenge)
- If the crystal holder disconnects, the room will no longer reset and will instead wait for a new player to pick up the crystal and resume from there
- The mobs in the room have been remade, and will spawn more frequently throughout the challenge
The aim of this change is to make the room more skill-based, meaning it can be completed significantly faster than before with optimal play
- Adjusted lighting in the Lobby, Tower Instructions Room, and Resource Instructions Room
- Fixed a bug with Crystallines being stuck in their spawning animation for a moment

The Canyon Colossus

Archer
- Rebalanced Leap:
- Greatly increased the ability's walk speed scaling
- Increased cooldown (2s -> 4s base, 1s -> 2s with Bounding Stride)
This change aims to make Leap much more useful in combat scenarios, albeit with a longer cooldown as to be more significant of a dodge that must be valued more and kept handy for dangerous attacks.
- Increased the base firing rate of Guardian Angels by +10%
- Nerfed Boltslinger's Embodiment of Rended Skies:
- Guardian Angel firing speed: +30%/30%/50% -> +20%/20%/30%
- Adjusted Aspect of Further Horizons:
- Now reduces Arrow Storm spread by a percentage instead of a flat amount. Base Arrow Storm spread reduction remains the same while reducing it even more if the spread amount is increased by other factors such as abilities like Nimble String and Windstorm.
- Added attack rate to the description of Ivyroot Mamba
- Renamed Aspect of Upkeep Charges to Aspect of the Beastmaster. It no longer increases Bouncing Bomb bounce amount, and instead does the following:
- Increase your Hound's movement speed by +15%/25%/35%.
- Increase your Snake's weakness effect by +2%/3%/4%.
- Increase your Crow's distraction duration by +0.1/0.15/0.2s.
Bouncing Bombs being able to go past the limit of 1 has proven to be impossible to balance in the endgame scene; more bounces means more traps, more shrapnel, more mana, and severely more damage. Despite being a fabled aspect, it is perhaps the strongest archer aspect at the moment, and for good reason.
As fun as it is to be able to have a bunch of bombs flying around, its issues between balance and the large amount of visual noise it brings has led us to instead replace it with another aspect outright. Thank you for understanding the changes.
- Nerfed Trapper's Embodiment of Persistence Predation:
- Patient Hunter charge speed: +20%/20%/40% -> +10%/10%/15%
- Changed Spectral Hover to be connected to Murder Flock and Decimator instead of Cheaper Arrow Storm
- Ghostly Trigger will no longer activate if Escape fails to cast
Warrior
- Added a new major Paladin ability: Heavenly Trumpet (2 AP)! Casting War Scream while holding shift with at least 25% Holy Power will spend all of it to sound off a protective trumpet. All nearby allies are granted +1% Overhealth for each point of Holy Power consumed. This ability replaces Second Chance as the Paladin archetype's third Red ability.
- Added a new Paladin ability: Luster Purge (2 AP)! Your Main Attacks are empowered with holy energy while you have at least 10% Holy Power, dealing additional damage and gaining range.
- Increased Bloodlust's damage (Neutral: 150% -> 300%, Fire: 50% -> 100%)
This is done to compensate for the damage not scaling with Enraging Blow anymore as it was an unintended interaction.
- Removed Ragnarokkr
Ragnarokkr's damage bonus has been mostly integrated into Emboldening Cry in order to grant more of Warrior's team buffs to the Paladin archetype.
- Moved Comet to Ragnarokkr's previous position
- Changed Discombobulate's damage bonuses to scale better with other boosts
- Moved Shield Strike to the 4th page, with Luster Purge taking its current position

Sacred Surge feels like a more core part of Paladin's kit than Rejuvenating Skin, and as such we've decided to turn it into a Red ability. Alongside an increase to damage, we've added several other abilities that utilize the newly renamed Holy Power resource.

Acrobat Rework
The Acrobat archetype is seeing major changes to its progression and abilities with this update!
Our goal with this rework was to integrate mechanics that have given the archetype its flying identity into the kit right from the early game beginnings of the playstyle; this being evident in the new placement of Hop and its synergy with Lacerate.
As a result of this, Acrobat's standard cycle and airborne mobility should be slightly easier to perform at a more reasonable level while the new abilities that we have introduced with Stomp and later Swan Dive provide a smooth progression into higher skill ceiling mechanics, which give Acrobat a much needed damage boost without the incredible safety that would have come with just increasing damage numbers on the old kit.In summary the rework should provide a smooth progressive experience right from the beginning of the Ability Tree where the intention is to try to go higher and for longer to dive more powerfully before resetting with an explosion upwards back into your usual rhythm!
Added a new ability, Stomp (2 AP, Page 3). Falling 8 blocks or more deals damage around you when you land. This damage is increased for each additional block fallen, up to 12 additional blocks (20 total). This replaces Fatality's current position.
Hop has been moved to Page 3 and is now mandatory after Stomp. Righting Reflex has been moved to Hop's previous position on Page 5.
Added a new major ability, Swan Dive (2 AP, Page 5). Landing 30 hits against an enemy while midair grants you +1 Momentum (Max 5). Stomp consumes your Momentum on use, dealing additional damage per stack consumed. Using Stomp with 3+ Momentum additionally releases a powerful explosion that deals massive damage and briefly blinds enemies. This ability completely replaces Flow State as Acrobat's second Red ability.
Dancing Blade has been reworked. It has changed from a Yellow Node (1 AP) to a Blue Node (2 AP), and deals slightly more damage than before. After using Swan Dive, your next Dash becomes empowered, dealing additional damage and gaining additional speed.
Parry has been reworked. The ability has been renamed to Aerial Ace, and has swapped positions with Wall Jump. Hitting an enemy with Swan Dive or an empowered Dash gives you a damage boost.
Jasmine Bloom has been changed. In addition to gaining a bloom after spending 40 Mana, you will also gain a bloom after gaining 2 Momentum. Using Swan Dive with a maximum size Jasmine Bloom will trigger a massive explosion, and will reset the radius of Jasmine Bloom.
Additional Smaller Changes:
- Added Lacerate+Hop superjump tech to the base ability. Using Hop while Lacerate is active will launch you further.
- Fatality has been reworked and renamed to Finality, and has been moved to Page 4. Multihit's damage ramps up every hit, dealing additional damage. Damage bonus caps at 8 hits.
- Mutilate now also increases Finality's damage bonus cap by +3 hits.
- Shurikens has been reworked. After using Dash, you prepare 3 shurikens (Max 9). Your next Main Attack will throw all your prepared shurikens.
- Pirouette has been removed.
Pirouette, while providing the great ability to bounce on top of enemies to stay in the air, simply wouldn't function with the new direction of acrobat needing to land on the ground to deal damage. It also suffered from frequent accidental activation that proved annoying in many situations.
Aspect Changes:
- Reworked Aspect of Sleight-Of-Hand:
- Now increases the amount of shurikens you gain per Dash, and increases the maximum amount of shurikens you can prepare. Damage reduction is the same.
- Shurikens prepared per Dash: +1/2/3
- Max Shurikens prepared: +3/6/9
- Reworked Aspect of the Airborne:
- Now also increases the Jasmine Bloom explosion radius by +2/3/4 blocks.
- Updated the original effect to scale area of effect by +0.4/0.6/0.8 blocks per bloom instead of increasing maximum bloom radius by +2/+3/+4 blocks, effect power should be unchanged at maximum blooms.
- Reworked Aspect of the Martial Trance:
- Renamed to Aspect of the Agile Blade

Aerial Ace gains +1.5/2.25/3s duration
Mage
- Fixed Thunderstorm's animation taking longer than it should
Shaman
- Added a new major Acolyte ability: Eldritch Call (2 AP)! Casting Totem while holding shift will spend 35 points of Blood Pool (per Totem) to set all Totem durations to 8s, fabricating nightmarish tentacles that strike at and cripple nearby enemies. Damaged enemies will be slowed and weakened, and Bleeding enemies will take x2 damage from this ability. Additionally, while this ability is active, Blood Connection becomes an unrestricted, short-range teleport, and Totem cannot be cast. This ability replaces Twisted Tether as the Acolyte archetype's second Red ability.
- Adjusted Sanguine Strike's description to list Bleeding's base damage
- Changed Commander's Main Attack damage bonus to scale better with other boosts
- Changed Twisted Tether from a Red Node to a Pink Node, and moved it to be optional
- Increased the Bleeding effect's base damage (Neutral: 20% -> 30%)
- Increased Sanguine Strike's bleed application (0.25s -> 0.5s)
- Sanguine Strike now reduces Hand of the Shaman's beam spread more significantly
- Reduced Blood Sorrow's bleed application (9s -> 0.5s per hit)
Blood Sorrow hitting the Bleeding cap with every single hit far outclassed the other bleed application methods. This change keeps it as a solid source of Bleed while allowing Lashing Lance and Sanguine Strike to be more usable in comparison.

🔥 Hotfix 02/24
We've made various adjustments to Acrobat abilities and Eldritch Call. We have larger changes in the works to further address feedback we've received, but this hotfix should leave these archetypes in a better state while we keep working. These changes will be live on all worlds within 8 hours or so.
Acrobat
- Reduced Stomp's minimum and maximum heights for damage (Minimum: 8 -> 5 blocks, Maximum: 20 -> 15 blocks)
- Increased Stomp's damage bonus per additional block fallen (10% -> 12%)

We've pushed some fixes and tweaks earlier today, which should be live on most worlds already!
- Fixed Hop acting similar to the Dash spell
- Fixed Swan Dive breaking Righting Reflex if the nodes were selected in the wrong order

- Reduced Momentum buildup requirement (2s -> 1.5s)

Orphion's Nexus of Light
- Made adjustments to the Cloud Decay room:
- As well as the smoke particles, the clouds now have a "light beam" indicator (but dark) similar to the one used in the tower room to indicate where mobs will spawn.
- You can no longer take fall damage in this room.
- Slightly reduced the amount of time it takes for mobs to spawn on the clouds after the indicator is shown (10s -> 8s)
- The build for the staircase to Orphion's Arena has been slightly updated
- Your walkspeed in the pre-boss staircase is now always set to at least 250% (if the walkspeed from your gear is higher than 250% it will remain unchanged)
Both this and the minimum walk speed in Nest of the Grootslangs might be changed depending on how fast or slow these rooms feel now. Let us know!
The Nameless Anomaly
- Changed the Berserker Berry in the Berry Room to be a right-click to pick up, and gave it an eating sound
- Fixed an issue with doors in the Tree Room having a delay before letting the player through after they killed the Isoptera
- Fixed many issues regarding multiple people entering the soul altar outside of the Tree breaking the altar
- Added a 3 minute timer to players inside the tree in the Tree Room, which resets upon killing the Isoptera. After the timer runs out, that player will be kicked from the tree and keep the Isoptera heart if they have it.
- Added a chat warning to the Guild Raid Watched Laser to better imply to destroy the obelisks

- The boss fight against The Parasite has been split off as its own challenge following right after the Orphion boss without interlude
- Players will receive the standard challenge rewards for both fights (meaning up to +3 extra reward pulls and +1 extra aspect pull compared to other raids)
- Players will now be revived at the start of the bossfight against The Parasite
- The Parasite's health has been increased to compensate. (1.5M -> 2.5M)
- The Parasite should now respect knockback immunity from player abilities where applicable
The Nameless Anomaly
- Fixed an issue where the Chiropterror mini-boss would disappear after grabbing a player
✨ Lootrun Changes

- Rebalanced Mana Potions: All mana potions have been rebalanced to give players 10 mana per second instead of 15 mana per second. Additionally, their duration has been decreased from 7s-32s to 6s-16s across tiers. We believe that these duration values better reflect the length/proportion of fights we want one mana potion to represent.

- [Guild Raid] Lightburn now only begins slowly recovering after 10s since last being lightburnt. The recovery rate increases as long as you continue not being lightburnt.
- Fixed an issue when killing The Parasite while it was trying to latch onto a player.
- Fixed an issue with Sun Flare projectile models appearing above their hitbox.
- Fixed an issue with Sun Flare projectiles hitting the floor before they were intended to.
- Fixed some bugs relating to mobs being killed by the shockwave at the start of Final Struggle.
- Fixed the Crystalline overlay appearing as rectangles.
- Fixed the raid awkwardly teleporting you at the start of the Parasite fight.

A lot of internal cleanup happened around Orphion's Nexus Of Light to make future adjustments easier. A few more improvements to the performance and fights themselves are still in the works, so stay tuned!

✨ Lootrun Changes
- Reduced Boon, Curse and Base Scaling by around 50-66%
We felt like the rapid scaling during lootruns detracted from the player agency to choose your class and your build. Due to these high scaling numbers, your build and playstyle while lootrunning were rapidly homogenized into their basic elements, which lead to it feeling very same-y and dull. Challenges would often turn into DPS tests where either you killed the enemies instantly, or they killed you instantly.
We think these changes will decelerate these things from happening, and will better reward players early-mid run for building and performing well.

- Weightless' cooldown is now separated per unique damage type
This now means that there is a 1 tick cooldown for each type of spell or ability damage!
For example, you can get a Weightless proc from Jasmine Bloom once per tick AND Smoke Bomb once per tick.
- Reverted Momentum back to requiring 30 hits per stack, but it now uses the same cooldown mechanic as Weightless
- Aerial Ace's radius will now correctly always be in sync with Swan Dive's explosion radius
- Removed Jasmine Bloom explosion radius from the Aspect of the Airborne
- Adjusted Acrobat's Embodiment of Gravity Defiance:
- Tier 2: Now reduces hits required per stack of Momentum by 6

While Armour Breaker was a powerful support tool on its own by uplifting other allies, complete with a full uptime, it greatly compounded with Fallen already being a heavy damage dealing archetype. For this reason we're moving its effect to its user only and slightly reducing its uptime.
The lost health is tracked even while the ability is on cooldown, meaning you can immediately activate it when its cooldown ends if you've lost enough health to activate it while it was on cooldown.

📈 Guild XP Contribution Changes
Since the release of 2.1, we've gradually seen a rise of players creating low leveled characters that they permanently stall at an optimal level to gain advantages over the mob scaling system in raids.
This system was created to enable endgame players to enjoy lower leveled content in parties with players that might be at that low level while in a normal playthrough of the game. It has served that purpose well, which has made it hard to come up with good solutions that keep the beneficial parts while addressing the minority that can ruin the immersion of the game by seemingly being stronger than you while at a much lower level.
To address this, we're making some adjustments to the Guild XP contribution system. We believe that this system is quite out of date, can cause issues when creating new characters and accidentally having it enabled, and gives rise to permanent level stalling for a competitive advantage. It is our general belief that you shouldn't be able to completely stall your progress at all, but to begin with the changes we're making are somewhat small.
They are:
- Combat XP rewards that are only given once from the likes of Quests, Mini Quests, Objectives, and Discoveries will never be deposited to your Guild XP progress. This is true even when your Guild XP contributions are set to 100%.
- Combat XP rewards from Raids will also never be deposited to your Guild XP progress. This is directly to address issues surrounding being able to stall at an "optimal" level in scaled content.

At the beginning of every raid room, all players will now be:

- Have all currently active status effects removed
Content Team Design Note
Some archetypes can become incredibly strong after building up their resources. While this is unproblematic in most cases, this can present issues for content where resources can be generated before entering combat, making the player have an immense power surge at the start. This leads to issues such as bosses being killed far faster than intended and is generally unhealthy for the combat balance of the game.
To reduce the impact of this and standardize archetype performance within challenges, we believe it best to make all archetypes start out on equal footing at the beginning of combat challenges.
We know that this change might impact some archetypes more than others, and so we will be closely monitoring the impact of this change and adjust abilities as necessary.
Other Changes
- All raid accessories and charms will now be pre-revealed in the reward chest
- Updated the jingles that play during raids with new instruments
Orphion's Nexus of Light
- [Tower Room] The capture area for the crystal holder is now a 20-block tall cylinder with a radius of 3.5 blocks
- [Boss] Increased the resistance Orphion gains when brought below 50% of maximum health (75% -> 95%)
- [Boss] Players overtaken by the Parasite will now have their pets hidden
The Canyon Colossus
- [Maze Room] Players without the Wings will now only see the exit particles when within 20 blocks of the exit. Players with Wings will see them within 75 blocks.
The Nameless Anomaly
- [Bulb Capture Room] Bulb Keepers will now play their spawn horn sound on the location they spawn, rather than on each player
- [Boss] The Nameless Anomaly will gain 95% resistance at 66% and 33% health until the Watched Phase begins. It remains entirely invulnerable while the Watched attack is executing.

✨ Lootrun Changes
After the introduction of Trials, we feel that Lootruns are in a much healthier place with regards to rerolls. However, the effect of trials opening more slots for missions has led to a heavily increased number of pulls per reroll. In order to combat this, instead of reducing the pulls which can be obtained, mythic chances are being slightly reduced across the board. Flying Chest mythic rates have also been reduced to roughly the same degree in order to ensure one strategy does not dominate the other.
Related to this, every End Reward Sacrifice beyond the first one is now less effective than before:

These changes aim to make Jasmine Bloom far more readable and understandable as an ability. It was doing too much for a single ability.
Petal Storm is very similar to the previous functionality of Jasmine Bloom, but now increases by a percentage rather than raw conversions to make it easier to tweak in the future. - Increased the range of Ripple (5 blocks -> 8 blocks)
- Increased the range of Swan Dive (8 blocks -> 12 blocks)
- Increased the range of Petal Storm (12 blocks -> 15 blocks)
- Removed the 3 Momentum minimum from Petal Storm
- Doubled the Momentum cap (5 -> 10)
- Halved the amount of hits required for a Momentum stack (30 -> 15)

These changes are aimed at creating better progression when first unlocking Swan Dive, and will not affect how fast Momentum charges in the endgame.
- Momentum's damage bonus will now stack multiplicatively rather than additively
- Reduced the damage bonus per Momentum Stack (+25% -> +10%)
These changes aim to put a greater focus on achieving higher Momentum stack counts. At 10 Momentum, this works out to about a ~15% damage increase to the current 5 Momentum cap. - Changed how Trickster clone Smoke Bomb casts work
This change aims to closely mimic how spells are cast as a real player. It treats each clone like its own player that replaces its own spells when recast from Echo.
Death spells from the same clone type can exist alongside each other. For example: if you have 2 Mirage Clones on the field at once, they can both cast Smoke Bomb on death and have them exist simultaneously.
Spells that are copied using Echo will follow the logic that each clone will replace its own cast spell when it casts a second spell. For example: if you have 2 separate Mirage Clones and use Echo Smoke Bomb, they will both cast Smoke Bomb and both will exist. However, if you then use another Echo Smoke Bomb with the same two clones active, they will replace the two active Smoke Bombs on the ground for two new ones.
The logic above holds for all types of clones. - Rebalanced Satsujin

Universally scaled raw health regen up by around 40% and scaled % health regen down on items.
While splitting HPR into a % and raw ID can be interesting for item design and building, we believe that by shifting so much of the power onto % hpr, it tends to make building health regen more difficult on a casual level by widening the gap between low and high HPR and splitting the efficiency of the ID on two rolls rather than one.
The following changes are intended to generally reduce the dominant role that % HPR has, make it easier to build HPR as you level as well as at endgame. They generally should not significantly affect many endgame health regen builds, with exception of builds with low and very high HPR, which may experience a small buff and nerf, respectively.

The Wartorn Palace
Challenge 2a (Gallery)
Slightly reworked this challenge.
- You can no longer hit shields with regular attacks. Instead, the player on the platform must press sneak while aiming at a shield to instantly kill it.
- Guild raid resistances have been decreased significantly while between 1 and 4 shields are alive
- Spikes now erupt faster in the Guild Raid version of this room
The second room was heavily reliant on AoE for the person on the platform, and their effectiveness could wildly swing the pace of the room. With this change, we're hoping to reduce the raid's reliance on AoE, slightly normalize the completion time of the room, and give players playing tankier builds more opportunity to stand on the platform.
Additionally, guild raid shield spawn rates have been reduced, along with resistances, but to compensate the spikes beneath you will now erupt faster. Stay on your toes!
As usual, we'll continue to monitor feedback on the room and how it's performing, and make changes as necessary.
Challenge 3a (Anchors)
- Tweaked the wording of guild raid changes to be more informative about how to counteract collisions
- The wielder now has a unique glow color so they can be identified more easily.
- Tweaked the attacks of the Anchors of Hate:
- The cooldown on basic attacks has been moderately increased.
- Basic attacks now use a model on top of particles to indicate where they will happen.
- Flame Cross now has a considerably longer wind-up and slightly smaller hitbox, but is extended by an additional flame pillar in each arm of the cross and has slightly increased knockback.
- Cinder Flare has a longer wind-up and slower shot speed but moderately larger explosion radius and knockback.
- Lava Wave has a slightly longer windup and travels slightly slower but has greater knockback.
The goal of these tweaks to the attacks is to shift the balance of the anchor attacks from more frequent lighter attacks, to more sparse more meaningful attacks.
Boss (Crown)
- Tweaked the formatting of some title indicators during the raid boss
- Tweaked some visuals on the Mother of all Bombs to work a bit more consistently
✨ Lootrun Changes
- The Lights Out trial will now only give radiance chance curses when successfully completing a challenge
Ability Changes
- Fixed various identification boosts not applying immediately upon unlock in the Ability Tree and needing a relog or equipment change to activate
Mage
- Allowed Powder Specials to consume Unstable & benefit from its damage boost.
Rebalanced Paradox (Riftwalker)
- Damage delay reduced from 25% to 20%.
- Damage delay duration reduced from 10s to 8s.
Shaman
- Fixed being able to use Totem Shove without the necessary mana

Acolyte Changes
Acolyte has received a multitude of changes to many parts of its kit in light of how its gameplay changed from its page 8 nodes. These changes are focused on making Acolyte a heavier, slower spell caster, cutting down on its overall potency in terms of its supportive aspects, as well as giving Acolyte better access to Blood Pool generation within its own tree. Acolyte’s role is now condensed into a Healing/Damage class & has less support as a result.

Flaming Tongue
- Delay per attack: 0.1s -> 0.35s
- Thunder Damage: -15% DPS -> -10% DPS
- Neutral Damage: -15% DPS -> -5% DPS
- Each attack of Flaming Tongue now shoots out directly from the player.
Flaming Tongue's quick casting speed did not play into Acolyte's theme of being a slower spell caster, and it has since been changed to match that.
Lashing Lance
- Flaming Tongue bonus hits: 1 -> 2
- Bleeding duration inflicted per hit: 1.5s -> 1s
- Neutral Damage: -5% DPS -> +10% DPS
Deeper Wounds
- Removed the node.
New Yellow node: Scourge
- Increases Flaming Tongue's Attack Speed by +40% and total hits by +1
- Positioned where Deeper Wounds is.
Fluid Healing (Shaman)
- Removed the node.
Fluid Healing’s design has been outdated ever since Healing Efficiency was a stat. Receiving significantly more healing from a stat that also boosted your damage proved to be very problematic for balance, and it has since been removed. Adjustments to items have also been made to adjust for the theoretical healing nerfs.
Twisted Tether
- Now affected by multiplicative damage boosts (Strength, Dexterity Crits, Vengeful Spirit, etc.)
Blood Rite
- Replaced the cap of 10 Blood Pool per hit with 15 Blood Pool per second.
Rupture
- Consumed Bleeding duration: 3s -> 2s
- No longer deals the damage the Bleeding would've dealt. Instead grants +2.2 Blood Pool per second of Bleeding consumed.
- Now positioned in Fluid Healing's place on page 6.
Rupture proved to be very problematic as a damage dealing node, causing Acolyte to excel greatly in damage while also encouraging excessive spam of Flaming Tongue and Sacrificial Shrine's Aura. Rupture's purpose is now aimed at being a mid-game boost to your Blood Pool usage.
Eldritch Call
- Attack Range: 18 Blocks -> 12 Blocks
- Blood Pool cost: 30 -> 35
- Removed inflicted debuffs (-Resistance Bonus/+Slowness) on Bleeding enemies
- Eldritch Call tentacles will now attack Bleeding enemies from +6 blocks away.
Eldritch Call's debuffs, even with Bleeding application being required, have still caused nearly unmatched levels of damage support alongside having high damage. As a result, Eldritch Call's support has been removed in order to lower its overall potency when used in team content, in favor of it being a purely damage dealing ability.
Sanguine Strike
- Now applies 2s of Bleeding to mobs hit with Main Attack
- No longer applies Bleeding per beam, now only requiring 1 beam hit to apply the Bleeding duration
- Bleed application now has a 2 second cooldown (per mob)
- Removed the Main Attack spread reduction
New Blue node: Eldritch Transfusion
- Grants a unique buff to Eldritch Call that increases its damage each time its duration is refreshed. Stacks are lost when Eldritch Call ends.
- This node is located after Blood Sorrow, where Rupture was previously located.
Blood Sorrow
- Blood Cost: 70 -> 60
Effuse
- Increased Blood Pool granted by +1.5 per hit
- Hit Cap Increased from 5 -> 6
Aspect of Lashing Fire
- Reworked into "Aspect of Gushing Blood".
- New effect: Lashing Lance now inflicts +0.15s/+0.2s/+0.25s/+0.3s of Bleeding per hit.
- Previous effects have been removed.
