As an avid fan of your rework, I think the biggest gripe I actually had was—ironically—how genuinely vast and impressive it was. It didn’t fit with Wynn, having so much built around Charon, which made it almost the centerpiece of Nemract, whilst also taking a ton of inspiration from sources outside of Wynn. As awesome as it was, a simpler approach to referencing Charon would be a better fit to Charon, whilst making Ancient Nemract work as a historically/conceptually Wynn area, in the process of building Charon’s Ferryman design into it.

and show case that orcs and other "greenskins" were only one affected by villager expansion

I'm not sure of the official rules regarding how clans work as like. a societal structure- I just see it used as a common fantasy word for "collectives" and was trying to use that to group together the Orcs Et Al.

I was writing so much stuff about orcs and goblins and trolls and ogres and constantly asking "hey is this good how do we like this is this neat do these feel distinct what about this hey hey hey" for so long that someone who had been on the team since then not knowing I was The Orcs Guy blindsided me. I hadn't yet come up with details on trolls since they were never particularly focused on in any quests, other than Troll Hair being mentioned in From The Bottom, so on the one hand I can't blame them, but on the other, like...come on

it mostly comes from the simple objective fact that goblins, ogres, and trolls are significantly less of a focus than orcs in terms of story relevance

so focusing on orcs is something that's just more likely for the player to remember
