In the past (F1 2019 and F1 2020), Codemasters have said 'game will be available on the, say, 13th' but then you have been able to still download and play it on the 12th.
For some reason, players playing on Playstation 5 in Australia, were able to download and play the game 12 hours early.
You also supposedly get access to the game two hours earlier than everyone else if you pre-ordered it through the F1 2020 in-game store, although not sure how true that is.
Seems like the availability differs, because some people are saying it will be available in two hours, some say 13 hours, some say 7 hours.
Seems like most people getting the game already are on Playstation 5.

Most of the teams use rFactor Pro from what I understand, as it allows external control over various bits like aerodynamic behavior, braking behavior, tyre wear/degradation etc.

And Ferrari has used a simulator based on the engine from Kunos Simulazioni's earlier games.

Every team sets up an "ERS deployment map" ahead of every weekend, and I believe that is what Lando called "unrealistic" because the car deploys the energy itself, and not the driver (other than clicking the overtake button).
