Yes, I saw that, I was looking for more broad because I stream via restream to twitch and YouTube. And I was looking for both to be read and restream has that feature, but you need to have an extra app to be running, but my system CPU is already overloaded. So I wanted a browser element from streamelements, but I guess that's not possible in SE, is it?

Im trying to make a twitch command that tracks how my times Its used on a specific ${user} but Im not entirely sure how. I wrote this kinda deal but its not right as it tracks the amount the command is used in general rather than on a target:

${user} was banned by ${sender}... this makes ${count banmeme +1} times ${user} was banned.

Not a super big deal as its just kinda for lols but if would apricate it if you can help. Also I did check reddit and google first but idk how to really google this issue in a way I get what I need.

Not when I hit the play button next to on of the variations settings or when someone dono's or cheers the exact amount either. To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Hello Team, I still have problems with Custom Bot Name (se.live plugin OBS - Twitch). I can activate the custom bot again in the meantime, but it does not execute existing custom commands, only when I create new commands. It doesn't help to delete the old ones and create new ones with the same name. Every custom command that existed before is not executed. However, any custom command created with a completely new name works, and all standard commands work as well. Is such a problem known? Has anyone an idea? Many thanks in advance.

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to make a redeem (sound alert) chat command for the specific user that triggers the command?
I would like to avoid making individual commands for each user.

The basic command to redeem a sound alert is ${redeem item_name} and I tried ${redeem ${sender}} and simply named the sound alert after my username to test it, but it doesn't work. I also tried with the ${user} and ${touser} variables.

However, the command ${redeem ${1}} works as long as the user type the right sound alert/item name, but that requires the user to write something after the command and still makes it possible for others to use the same command/sound alert.

Any ideas?

Like -level 250 is for subscriber only, or -300 for regular and so one... but i dont know if you can set up your own new user level in streamelemens... unfortunately.
Maybe it would be enough if only VIPs or Mods could trigger it? 🙂

Even more specific, I want to set up a command that copy the user's name (like the sender variable) so that an individual sound alert plays only when that person uses the command, even though the command itself can be used by multiple people.

I've seen streamers have this feature, but I'm guessing it's some kind of custom bot script.

Okay, I play at 1440p and downscale to 1080p60 for twitch. My pc can handle both x264 slow and nvec p7 highest quality. But I can't see the difference in the stream. I'm also 42 and my eye site isn't the best. Should I just stick with nvec?

I think you have something wrong here. If you have setup the chat manually yourself, ie custom dock, reset, disconnect from twitch and reconnect OBS (assumed you are using OBS) to your twitch channel. This should fix it. If twitch is not your default / primary streaming platform, then this will be your custom dock you have setup incorrectly

Why are you using voicemeter?

What is your audio setting in your live / game scene, you have snapped end scene, unless audio set up is the same in game / live scene. I can see that voicemeter is also sending your audio to discord which is also being sent to your headphones this looks like a double up there as well.

I want to play games with viewers, but do not want to use a queue function. I want tp have a Wheel of Fortune. I want people to tpye !WORD in chat so they are putting themselfs in the Wheel of Fortune. Then I want to spin 1 or more times and pick the winners to play with them. I can't find a widget like this, only the !raffle command, but then I am missing some nice visuals.

I found the Spinning Wheel from chatter_wheel_by_pjonp, but this one is outdated. The clear wheel command does not work, it is not customizable without the knowlegde of coding. So this one doest not work for me. I have searched the internet for hours, but I cannot find a alternitive. Only Wheels of Fortune where you have to type names in yourself, not working through chat commands.

They parted the bot from dashboard. In bot settings it said its not active and the option was to join. So we left it alone. Logged out, came back signing in with twitch. When he hit Join he got this image

You would have to write a piece of code that looks for the message (message is passed inside the onEventReceived event as its own "type" with the message and other usefull info) then check the first word. Compare to the value you have there that you set to some global variable that you set from this value (you can get it from onWidgetLoad event) and rest is up to you how you handle it... I personaly recommend holding some sort of username array and limiting users with some sort of "if is in array of usernames ignore else execute attack function".

Take in mind this is me just going from memory how I would handle it, you can try to use this as some sort of example. I made this for the chat TTS testing.

Most cameras that will plug in to a capture card will be SLR cameras of some kind. Unless you buy a used one you'll have a hard time getting down to $500.

I have been tinkering with the https://api.streamelements.com/kappa/v2/chatstats/CHANNEL_NAME/stats?limit=100 endpoint before, And it seems that it only shows the TOP 100 emotes of whatever 3rd party provider is, No matter if you change the limit query to whatever you like, And I think it's not worth creating a support ticket for, But you think it'll be easy on their end to either fix the limit query or create an " acceding" query? Where it shows the least 100 used [ data_type ] ?

Even the API documentation specifies the limit query that i'll work, but even if you test it with their live test function, It'll still send back only top 100.

Don't know about yt side of se but "it shows up when I do the test" sounds like you didn't hit "save" in the top right of the editor page.
Otherwise there are a lot of things that can be wrong. Though since it's a custom overlay, you can go as far as debugging the browser source in obs.

2. What have you tried EXACTLY when you say "everything"
3. What do you mean by "when I do the test"? What test?

Also I have told you there are nearly infinite possibilities why it doesn't work and that you can look at it via the obs debugger. Have you looked into the debugger when you mention "I have tried everything"?

Well that’s the thing you setup in OBS that’s responsible for creating the video feed you send over to Twitch, YouTube or whatever. Given the beast of a PC you have either you didn’t setup your encoder properly or you have a pretty bad internet connection, your stream should not be supper laggy as you said

Streamelements doesn't have access to the list of the channel members, so the widget would need to get that information from Youtube API.
I don't believe there is a widget for that, even because the page to get the API key is not that easy to follow when you don't have dev knowledge.

I know I kind of hate their back up system. It tends to break every once in a while. Either just have to get lucky or wait for your connection to finish about half an hour. It sucks ass and it pisses me off.

but not my friend! You can do your own manual backups by looking up on YouTube one specific tutorial in under two minutes or less on how to Dragon drop files for your OBS back up. It’s really easy. Way better than this.

something went screwy and wiped all my overlays i'm putting them back together and that's i have an issue i have my overlays set up and when i hit preview everything is there but when i copy the link and paste it to the browser, nothing is showing, i'm doing everything right, make the overlay set it to how i want it preview is fine then i do chat tests it all shows up in the preveiw but noting is showing on screen

no it's specifically for when a viewers wants to see how much time they've viewed a streamer overall. mine keeps saying 0 hours watched for everyone. uptime is for how long stream has been going on

anyone know how to fix an audio delay. When I go to stream via Twitch i get no audio delay on my Elgato Wave 3 Mic, or on the stream itself. my PS5 game being captured via HD60X/OBS has no video delay, but one of my viewers said on my last stream that the game's audio is delayed by 2 seconds even though the games visuals are not delayed

Yeah, if you just refresh everything, resave, maybe repost the link again it can work. Or either update OBS restart or the computer as well.

Also in OBS don’t forget to check the boxes to unload when not showing helps too.

It's basically this filter that you can add to change different values on other filters set, like making opacity slowly go from 0-100. does anyone know what kinda plugin or something does that?

Yeah, that’s easy. Did you already make a stream page overlay?

Then there’s that giant plus button on the bottom left if you’re already on there. You click on that and read all the labels. There should be a tip jar in there.
