So my problem is that the currency system is pretty messed up, I'm Danish therefore i have it in KR or DKK aka the danish crown, nvm. Someone donated 20 $ (not kr) twice but in my revenue history it says 48.40 KR when it is 48.40 $

it's not related to SE, it's not something we import

you used SLOBS, right?

basically you just need to make sure the source on the stream PC is the NDI main output [game PCC]

so after you install NDI on both OBS's, game PC must be main output [done in the NDI menu in OBS]

and in the stream PC you add a new NDI source, and it should recognize it assuming their on the same network

since you used slobs and now you're not I'm suggesting making sure NDI is indeed installed on both, that the game PC is indeed main output

and if needed simply re-create the source

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you are talking about the media request feature - that would require the specific widget in the overlay to display the info and/or play the clip.
About other "now playing" widgets - we have a couple, need more details what you look for.

This could be for a multitude of reasons (Format of file, export method, obs issue, etc.) but I made a logo and it's not looping correctly. For about 1 second at the start of the loop, it's just black. This makes the loop incomplete. And in the program I am exporting it from (Davinci Resolve) it shows that there isn't a black start to the clip of the logo. Anyone have any suggestions?

Figured I might as well post this in here for awareness. Not really an issue that I need help with since I figured out the issue already and removed OBS.live as the solution.

OBS was leaking huge amounts of memory (a few nights ago the program was using 30gb of RAM before it crashed because I ran out of system memory). My OBS logs indicated that there were 35 memory leaks. After a fresh install, I had 0 memory leaks again. I added things back one by one, and all 35 memory leaks returned the moment I added OBS.live. So clearly something is very wrong with it, and I'm no longer going to use it.

Thought I'd share so that you guys are aware of it

Hey Guys, maybe here could someone explain my problem: Sometimes the CPU usage gets up from 1% to 20 or higher and the fps drops from 30 to<20 but there is nothing running, no source, no transisitons, just a static overlay from streamelements. Then, when i restart obs all is fine and cpu usage <1%. I have reinstalled OBS today and now i got the same issue...The Guys of the OBS Discord says its an issue of the Streamelements Plugin.

That is not an issue by itself. Browser sources use CPU resources. Depending on the hardware, 20% usage are realistic.

Imagine that as a website (it is a website pretty much, hence the name browser source) - and it needs to be reloaded from time to time. Or an event comes in and needs to be processed.

OBS Browser Source is based on Chromium and heavy overlays (more elements, heavier files and scripts) use more CPU of course

It is almost impossible to diagnose. If you have custom CSS in your widgets, i would start there. You can also make sure to disable each browser source one by one so you can find the problematic one

6) Navigate to the Console tab
7) Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8) Try setting the custom bot name
9) Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties."

Hi, I started having this problem about 3 days ago where my stream drops frames every 10-15 seconds for maybe 2-5 seconds.
I don't know what is causing that, it just started out of the blue one night.

Here is what I tried (which didn't solve the issue):

• Restarting PC/Router/Modem
• Changing ingest server
• Changing the stream bitrate
• Changing the Process Priority to High
• Running OBS in admin
• Enabling/Disabling Game Mode
• Enabling/Disabling Game Bar
• Disabling Anti-Virus
• Uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version of OBS (no plugins)
• I tried running a stream with everything closed on my computer except OBS, and I streamed a black screen (no sources)

I then went ahead and tried streaming to Twitch with another software and had no issue whatsoever, even while playing a game. This really makes me believe that it IS and OBS problem. Yes, I am on Wi-Fi, but I don't have access to an Ethernet port to see if the problem persists with a wired connection.

As I said in the beginning, I've never had this issue in the past year or so. It started 3 days ago (and my setup hasn't changed).
If you want log files, I have them ready.

And the reason another software would work fine, is because "other streaming software are deliberately amplifying the network to prioritize the stream over everything else. You can see some clear Pixelation going on? I am running with the NVENC new encoder and 6k bitrate at 936p. I noticed this pixelation before but that was when playing Apex so i just thought "Well it's fast paced FPS so i guess it's expected" . But now i've seen it happening on Dead by Daylight which i can't really see myself chalking my hardware not being able to handle this game.

TL;DR: Twitch's Bitrate limit is the problem. Dead by Daylight has a lot of "sharp" edges (Gras with the lighting etc.)

That's the problem with Twitch. 6k is the official limit. Some people manage to go up to 8k, but that's a really bad idea because people with a bad internet connection or wifi will be unable to watch your stream. Partners can go to 8k without a problem, because they have guaranteed transcoding.
Try messing with your game settings. Lower them and enable anti-aliasing if you have the GPU power. Anti-aliasing will smooth out the hard edges of your image, so the encoder doesn't have to work as hard. Also try out different downscale filters in OBS -> Settings -> Video.

Ive had an issue with OBS Live constantly creating new scenes with LONG IDENTICAL NAMES ever since i imported scene collections from streamlabs. I've had this this issue for a while but i thought maybe i should get it fixed.
It took me ages to delete all of them and BOOM they just come back day by day.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I've never had this happen before, I switch to stream elements and now whenever i start streaming, the bitrate at first stays around 6000 kbps but then goes down to 0 and doesn't go back above 1000. I streamed fine at 6000 before i switched to stream elements and have tested my bitrate with the TwitchTest tool.

@raven tusk Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Use the Twitch Bandwidth Test to find the best Twitch server to stream to. Set Duration to Medium. You can uncheck any regions you're not near.

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

but since there are several other commands that also could endup in a spam as well, should'nt this be my decision? and i could actually say, each user can only run this command once a hour.
my main intention is to allow the user to type !smoke or some similar to chat and than there should appear a 3 sec video where a text is unterneath, saying... {user} went smoking a cigrarret

Please try to set all the settings for audio back to default (specially advanced audio settings) and make sure that your desktop audio device is set to the correct output

This will fix all your issues with audio from browser sources.

Our overlays and bot are in the cloud, no need to import anything there.

The overlay URLs and general OBS settings can be imported like that:

Go to your old PC, open OBS, then top menu - Profiles and Scene Collections, export both to a stick etc. and import those in the same menu on the new laptop

Just like i described - open OBS on the old machine, export Profies and Scene Collections, import those into OBS on the new laptop.

That will get you all the settings and scenes, you only need to fix the paths for the local files later

This issue is unknown to us. So we can only guess what we can do here.

First: i would suggest exporting the scene collection and import again.
If that does not help - reinstall OBS and import the scene collection.

That sounds like a connection issue. I would first check the OBS Logs to see what happened there and also change the ingest server (YT only has 2, pick the other one).

Once we know what is going on, we can then suggest a fix or direct you to the correct issue and the solution

Audio monitoring is not working, I have it all set correctly but the audio will not play through any device. I have my overlay source set with "Control audio via OBS" and then on advanced audio properties I have it set to Monitor and Output. I tried setting my Monitoring device to all my different devices I have and none of them play any sound. The bar at the bottom does move though, so the audio definitely exists, it's just not being played through anything on my end.

my obs is recording desktop audio and mic audio on 2 seperate files. game audio is in the mp4 video. and mic audio is in the mkv file

how do i get back to just one track

Remove the "Control audio via OBS" feature from all sources and it will go to your Desktop output as expected.

That should help you with testing and troubleshooting audio from scratch

Huh, that was how it always used to work for me, but I guess that was causing an issue somehow.. Strange
I have all of my audio separated into separate devices, so I had to set OBS to output to my virtual device and put that in as an aux device
Bit of a different way of doing it but it still works so alls good

For you I think you can just go to advanced audio properties and select the tracks there

The default way to use OBS is to not control the audio via OBS. This is the barebones, bone stock state so we can start figuring out the issues based on that.

You can of course go into the advanced audio settings, but i always recommend to go back to the beginning.

Has anyone had any issues with OBS bit rate fluctuating greatly and dropping loads of frames? Ive been having big issues with this and I tested my internet and know that it isnt the cause

This is most likely your internet. Test with a different ingest server and make sure you are using CBR in OBS (constant bitrate).
