• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start OBS.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

Do you mean a Stinger? You can add custom .webm files to your transitions, called Stingers. Click and hold on a transition and select Add: Stinger and then browse to the .webm file. It can also include audio.

Hello! I was trying to figure out if there was a way to customize my OBS alert notifications based on the currency tipped. I recently added cryptocurrency as a tipping form, but the alerts show up as my default tipping notifications. I would like to set up different notifications for each currency (e.g. have a Bitcoin gif for Bitcoin tipped, Ethereum gif for Ethereum tips). Is this customization possible or is there any documentation on custom coding that I can reference to get this to work the way I'd like? Thanks so much!!

Hello. I need some help setting up new scenes in OBSLIVE. I am trying to add a new scene, then add a duplicate of an overlay I edited so it doesn't have my camera window. Unfortunately, every time I try to change the URL for the overlay i'm using for the scene, the other scene's overlay changes too, rather than using the one set originally.
Please advise.

Nevermind I figured it out. You can't use the same "source" in a different scene and change the URL there, you have to add another source, and use a different URL with that source in your other scene. Figured it out. Thanks!

Hey there! I'm trying to do a custom chatbot name, but it's only allowing me to use StreamElements, or my display name and username as choices. I don't have an option for custom. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Custom Fonts

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Click on Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

So usually the overlays grab information from that page. With custom overlays, I do suggest to reach out to Nerd or Die to make sure they are set properly, as we don't have support for their overlays.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.

Hi there. I'm a new user having an issue getting overlays to display at all. I've created a few using the pre-designed templates in the Themes Gallery but when I try to actually Preview them, I see only a white screen. Also when I click on the Edit button, it displays a message that just says "Uh-oh... Something went wrong." If I copy and paste the URL into a new Browser source in OBS, being careful to enter the default resolution of 1920x1080 and selecting the Shutdown Source When Not Visible option, it displays just a black window. It's like something is blocking the overlay assets from being loaded but I'm not sure what it is. I've tried it in multiple browsers and on multiple computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I deleted and recreated my Stream Elements account and that fixed the issue.

I backed up my entire setup of senas etc. in the Obs Live cloud, but I had to reinstall Obs Live on another computer, and I can't recover my backup from the cloud, I do the entire procedure normally, but the "restore button" is not able .

you can't crop, the bounding box will keep its content's size relative or will simply cut it out
you can have a dedicated overlay for something you'd like to crop and crop within OBS by holding alt and moving the bounding box control points (the side you move will change to green instead of red)

Today I installed OBS Live on my other computer, I did the entire procedure of logging in to OBS Live with my Twitch account, so far so good. Before, when I needed to back up my scenes, I used the traditional local backup method.
I never used this OBS Live cloud backup option to save my settings, however, I did it that way yesterday.
Today I went to restore from the backup manager, I verified that the scenes are saved there in the cloud, I click to restore it, it downloads normal and asks to restore it right after, as in the image I sent above, however, the restore button is not enabled, as if it were blocked.

Got an issue regarding Razer Ripsaw audio setup in OBS:

Using a PS4 into gaming/streaming PC. Having issues with audio capture. The only way I can get dedicated game audio is to use the 3.5" jack from the PS4 controller (all audio set to headphones) into the mic jack on the Ripsaw and set my video capture card properties to capture audio from the Ripsaw mic input.

I have tried setting up the standard audio input 'microphone Razer HD HDMI' in OBS but I am getting no sound in stream. I have also set up a second mic/aux channel in OBS settings just to handle the audio and still have nothing using the 'Razer HD HDMI' or 'speakers: Razer Ripsaw HD' options.

Anyone had/having the same issues and what were your fixes?

Having a weird issue now that I'm jumping from my regular Windows 10 setup to a temporary setup on a Windows 7 machine in my room. Identical settings sharing the exact same Browser Source for my overlays... but as you can see... UNICODE style EMOTES are not working... they look monotone instead of colorful. So I just recently got an ethernet cable and connected it to my pc so my streams can run smoother and I launched a game through steam and it's running smoothly, but when I opened up streamelements obs live, it was skipping.

I streamed it through discord and it was working fine but when I open streamelements obs live the game skips. It's happening to my steam games but i have apex through origin and it runs smootly

@worn wadi Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

I'm currently struggling to upload a sound file that I want to use for my follower alert, when I browse my computer for the file and select the file, I get the "Started uploading file!" notification in the bottom right of the Stream Elements window, within a couple seconds I then get the "Failed while uploading file" notification. This shouldn't be an internet issue, as I'm able to actively do everything else (Load up videos and browse the web) I normally do on my internet, and I don't believe it's an issue with size or file type support, as the file is an Mp3 with a file size of 43.4 KB, and I only have 0.47 MB of spaced used on the cloud.

@little ledge Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Hello! I'm having trouble having my custom bot name automatically launch with OBS.live. Hello! I've imported my tips over from stream labs, but have noticed now that the new tips do not show up on the activity feed, for future tips do I need to a stream elements link or is there a way to keep the streamlabs link?

Good evening I Streamed this afternoon and when i tried to go live tonight i received a message saying "Failed to connect to a server" " The Connection Timed out. Make sure you've configured a valid streaming service and no Firewall is blocking the Connection" From what i can tell i have nothing wrong in firewall. • Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

Hello! I just finished a move and after my move I got everything hooked backup, and suddenly none of my browser sources in OBS are working? I can see the Browser Sources when I open the URL in my browser, but in OBS nothing shows up. I tried:
-> Reloading overlays
-> Resetting browser source hardware acceleration
-> Creating new sources & scenes
-> Refreshing cache of pages

Any ideas on what to do next?

We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live.

so i think i got it right but im not too sure, adding stream alerts to the stream is simple as adding the alerts widget and then adding that as a browser source right?

Hi! Hopefully this is an easy one. I recently got a Stream Deck and it's all working fine except, I have seen a couple of times about the StreamElements OBS.Live plugin in "more actions", but it doesn't seem to be there for me at all. Is that Windows only or has it been discontinued etc? Thanks!

Hi I am using Streamelements to stream on Twitch but recently after a windows update it doesn't recognize my Logitech Capture as a video capture device, it's been greyed out. Is there anyway I can fix this? It recognizes the webcam itself but I use the program so I can stream with two cameras

So if your sitting in the stream elements dashboard under overlays how do you import an overlay from the files on your computer? Like i have the .overlay file but there is no import button or new overlay, there is only create blank overlay but obviously im trying to import a pack from my computer not create a blank one. The "import from other channels" button is greyd out and cannot be clicked....

Hey, I installed an update today and I'm getting a System Error when attempting to launch the program. "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

I have reinstalled the program and restarted my PC multiple times. I have downloaded and installed the relevant file in both Windows>System32 as well as in obs-studio>bin>64bit.

When the file is in system32 or in 64bit I get an Application Error instead. "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).

It's worth noting that OBS Studio was working and open before installing the most recent update. Is there anywhere I can download a previous version of the program?

if its not that then you will have to ask in the OBS discord server

Every time I start live, that is, I go into Live Studio and give it a name to Live and select an image. A live opens with a different name and no image. I tried scheduling live and it did not help.

Hi! I am trying to import SLOBS into OBSLive and I always get "Failed Scene Collection" and "Import failed. Please try again later". During the import, I get 100% and then when it goes to "import alerts" and "import scenes", that's when it crashes. I don't think media is larger than 30MB; I have checked for that. Hello guys I can currently a prime member of streamlabs obs and I came here Because I was wondering if stream elements put less strain on my gpu

I stream warzone on one pc and my gpu usage gets maxed out and my stream suffers for it!

I have an RTX 3080 and a 3950x but yet I can’t run my streaming software and the game without worrying about my gpu maxing out so my question is this will stream elements help me with this issue ?

OBS.Live is simply a plugin to OBS, whereas SLOBS is a fork off software, from what we've been able to gather, we're a bit easier on the GPU/CPU usage, yes

OBS.Live technically has an import tool to allow you to move entire scene collections from SLOBS over to us, however, that depends on the file sizes of the assets those scenes contain

it's free though, so give it a shot, worst case scenario, it won't work

I usually use OBS studio as my main tool for work so I don't want to "touch" it.

I wonder if there is the possibility of having OBS.live in a separate installation

so I use studio for work and live for gaming

As far as profiles and scene collections: those can easily be imported/exported between the 2 without any issue.

So you have to adjust gifted sub and community gift variation.

If your community gift is using default one, delete it and recreate it so it should grab settings from default one

In sub alert, in left panel click "variations"

So you can adjust different variations (like +12 months, sub gift, regular gift and so on)

I'm having hopefully just a weird issue with the text font I select in Streamelements for my alert. When I go into OBS and play the alerts its just a normal font, like Times New Roman. I selected Offside in Streamelements. Does the font need to be installed on my computer also?

I'm having a HUGE issue with OBS that is now too inconveniencing because I've been ignoring it, but SOME sounds from in-computer: my background noise mp3 file, my bit-cost sound alerts

• for both of these noises, either I can hear it, or the audience can hear it. NEVER both. how do y'all make it work for both?? the switch it dependent on "control sound from OBS" property - if I control it, I can't hear it, the audience can - if I don't control it, I can hear it, and the audience can't. why ISN'T it both for me??
• I've tried switching monitor device which gives me a delayed echo on my voice and the piano mics over which I can't function AND the exactly the same issue remains.
