For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. 1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. start OBS.Live
5. Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

So, I've set up my alerts widget and the emotesplosion, but I've noticed that sometimes not only will emotesplosion not work, but not all of my alerts, such as my donations, raids, or hosts are going through all the time. I have my twitch account connected to SE and to my OBS.live and I'm using SE donations through paypal for all of this.... So I guess I'm wondering why the alerts aren't working and how can I make the alerts and my emotesplosion work all the time instead of just some of the time. I was asked to join from Twitter as I'm having a problem with my alerts on my stream elements and wasn't sure best where to ask for the much needed more help as offered as I'm struggling to understand how to make my alerts not be silent on stream.

All alerts come up apart from raid and host those have never even come up when I'm live and none have sound. I can hear them but the stream doesn't.

so for the raids/hosts you will need to check the variations in the editor,
if you dont have any customisation for the alerts, best not to have any variations in case some are missed out.

for the sound, by default it will play for you and stream,

go to your browser source for alerts in obs, right click and select properties, make sure that the "control audio via obs" is not ticked.

they also run off of your desktop audio, so make sure your desktop audio is not muted in obs and you will see the meter move when you emulate an event

@wary sandal Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

You can add the MR widget to its own overlay and set the source audio to be controlled in the browser source settings in OBS.

this will put it in the audio mixer

iirc you will get an echo if you want to listen to it as desktop audio will also pick up the sound.

Hello. I'm having problems with the audio mixer panel in my OBS.Live. Sometimes it's blank in the audio mixer panel when it should have levels, yet everything seems to work. Other times, I fire the program up and it doesn't have all the things in the audio panel that should be there. My desktop sounds are in my sources, but sometimes it shows up in the panel and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, I have no game sound, no sound from anything but my mic. Any thoughts?

Also, should the 'Game Capture' source have sound?

Hello. I'm getting in-game micro-stuttering whenever I stream, and it ONLY appears to affect Rocket League. I'm not dropping frames in game or in OBS, and the CPU and GPU usage are <50%, sometimes sub 40%, and the actual stream itself seems fine. It seems to happen when OBS is open, even if I'm not actively streaming. The only other program that I've noticed causes a similar problem is Spotify, but I can just minimize the window and it seems to fix it. I've tried minimizing OBS and moving it to my main monitor window with no real effect.

If anyone could offer some help I'd really appreciate it.

Oh, well that's one thing to note. Because of how graphics drivers work, having OBS on your secondary monitor will limit your primary monitor to that refresh rate if it's lower.

i'm having issues getting OBS.Live to pickup the game Bleeding Edge with a game capture source. The same source is fine with any other game but not Bleeding Edge. I'm just getting a black screen. @maiden jackal If you are not hearing your Alerts and/or Media request, you are most likely using the "Control Audio via OBS" option in your browser source properties.

Once again, I'm firing up my stream and the question arises... 'Will I have sound, will I not have sound?'. The meters were there for a few minutes but when I changed scenes all the audio meters disappeared. Will they come back? Do I have audio? I don't know and won't know until I go live. But I tell you, I'm going to talk about it on my stream as I explain why I'm STILL having audio issues.
