Since I changed the video the video does not play and changing it back hasn't fixed it. I've tried duplicating it but that does not work either. Quite frustrating as I spent all day working on it lol

KeiZar if anyone else does have this problem I found one thing to reset the popout location, but it requires closing OBS (so not good if they're already live) In OBS close the chat popout from the SE menu, then close OBS, reopen OBS, reenable chat from the SE menu. That reset the size and position for me where I could get to it.

One thing you can do is, as long as they are the same goal widgets, you can make a separate overlay, add the widget there, remove the goal widget from other overlays.
Add the goal widget overlay to OBS, right click the browser source -> copy -> go to the othre scenes -> paste as reference

one of the ways to fix it is to enable "shutdown when inacitve" option, but then you have to use studio mode to pre-load the next scene you will use.
The true vision of the overlays is basically you don't need to download anything
and can use the overlays if you go to TwitchCon and stream from a booth there
or Blizzcon or PAX or a LAN party

Depends on the purposes you use it - you can have a true "on the go" overlay that has minimalist purpose

for when home - you can spread out some of the widgets
In short - it all depends how you want to have different overlays and designs
me personally i'm going for a minimalist usage
if you have 20+ overlays with the same goal widget and need to update the goal widget on every overlay, instead of wasting time going into every single overlay to edit the goal
why not just move the goal widget on its own overlay
to ease the burden of redoing it every time

In OBS my preview window was zoomed in. I was able to fix that by resetting the resolution of the window. Now having done that all my scenes don't fit the window. My camera window is in a different place and my overlays are in the middle of the preview window. How do I fix this.

Sorry lemme re-word that: trying to figure out why (in StreamElements overlay) there's text left over after the alert is done on the "Redemption" alert box. So say I redeemed something that triggered a sound and an image from the item but after the duration expires it leaves a "user has redeemed item" thing. Noevertheless, a staff needs to takle a look at your accout to maybe fix the follow alerts. I will try to get a staff to look at this, but as it is the weekend, this can take some time.

Hello! Recently my notifications for follows haven't been popping up in the activity feed on obslive and the same goes for the overall alert. Testing the alert in overlay editor shows it works but it doesn't when someone actually follows. This has happened for two streams but the activity feed hasn't updated with the people who have followed and my alerts still don't work. Its just the follow alert/notification, as bits and subs still work.

I've run into an issue and not sure if it's a simple fix or what, but I was streaming earlier tonight and during the stream I got both a host and a new follow, and neither of those things triggered my alerts, and didn't show up in my alerts panel and I only knew about the host because it posted in chat, and the follow because I noticed after the fact that my follower count was up by one and I went to my followers to see that there was indeed a new one.
Any particular reason why this might've happened?
do I need to redo the browser source URL for the alerts or something?

Hey! I'm setting up new sources since I recently received an overlay package from Nerd or Die. Changing between scenes with the stinger is causing frame drops and CPU usage (I use nvenc encoding) to increase as well. It OBS and everything has been updated as well. I also have tried to enable the scene or close the scene when in use and not in use

Nothing in particular revealed. It's probably just a little too much for your setup to stream, run the game, and use transitions all at once.

thats what I did for this report. There have just been moments where in transitions it dropped frames heavily
but this one was for a recording, I will test with stream tomorrow.

When you are logged in to OBS Studio with your twitch account, enable the bandwith test mode checkbox in settings > stream. This is the same as you would have entered the ?bandwithtest=true at the end of your streamkey, if you would have been logged in with it.
