Ok, so if merging isn't possible, you can either leave things as they are, or indeed close one of the accounts. Be aware though that closing an account means that all accounts linked will be deleted. And if the close account form doesn't work for you, I can open a request with the developers and ask for it to be done.

Every platform is separate and has fully separate settings for everything. So no, it is not possible to sync anything between different platforms that we support. At all. The best you can get is a copy of an overlay that is partially compatible.

For example subscriber total says 102 but sub goal says 100. Sub total goes to 103 and sub goal is still on 100 and also no notification of a new user or a latest sub name either

Sub goals are independent and can be adjusted in the widget data > goals tab.
Other mentioned widgets will always show the latest data.

Not the sub number. Only the goal widget if you use that - that one is NOT linked to your actual amount of subs. The goal widget is designed to start at a custom amount (usually 0) and count up from there, it can't count down or adjust to the current number of subs.

Exactly so for example I have 100subs and the goal is 200 and so in the layer I set it to 200 and in the widget I set it to 100 and when I get a sub it will go to 101 and count down the days. Correct?

Yes. And this is exactly what the widget does. But if someone unsubscribes, you lose a sub but the widget did not count that as lost.

Is there a reason I'm getting terrible CPU spikes that makes me lose frames? All I do is load alerts on new members, tips, or superchats.. I have ryzen 9 3900x and 128 gb of memory with an RTX 3080

Generally, loading multiple sources at once can cause frames to drop, But it might be worth looking into the logs to see if anything sticks out

Howdy - I use your overlays for Twitch and YouTube to simply show my follower/sub count. Twitch is awesome - it's live and fresh as soon as events happen. Youtube has ALWAYS never worked. It does not show live when a subscriber subscribes, and the subscriber count from the session data is ALWAYS off. For example, I stared stream with 305 subs, but your overlay said 292. I just went into the overlay editor and manually reset session data - but Youtube overlay never works. Any fixes?

Ahhh! So if they have setting to private where you can’t see their subscriptions (channels they follow) then Streamelements also won’t show the updated count of my channel subs and the live alert? Because the biggest concern I have is that the sub count seems to never update —even for days if ever—that’s all I want is sub count to be accurate when I go live again the next day or in two days or whenever.

Due to changes by Youtube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from Youtube by their design.

Hey everyone. I have a bit of an annoying issue with SE. Recently I started using Mercury for my YouTube channel. I was using SE for Twitch for a long time. But now, everytime I log into Mercury, it logs me into the YouTube portion of the main SE dashboard as well. When I want to change Twitch stuff I need to log out and back in with Twitch again, which in turn logs me out of Mercury.

So I tried to just connect my YouTube account to my Twitch login so that I could easily switch between platforms without having to log out/in again. But whenever I try to do this, it says that my account is already claimed.

Is there something I can do to fix that problem?

We would need to confirm this by collecting the most recent log file after a replication of the issue.
Within OBS please navigate to the Help menu > Log Files > Show Log Files.
From that folder please provide us with the most recent log file.

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Tighter integration code for making OBS and YT play together nicely with OAuth 2.0 as the the authentication means has progressed to the point where the code has been committed and merged into the main OBS development branch. It's set for 27.1 which should solve a lot of the issues that OBS.Live has with login into YT for things like chat.

You probably won't be able to write in chat from OBS, but you'll see your chat stream like you can in StreamLabs at least.

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.

4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Yesterday I logged in with my YouTube account and I wanted to start a stream, but I couldn't, whenever I pressed 'Start streaming' nothing happens..

Well the one you had connected here for youtube is for your english account which doesn't meet them nor does it have your other channel linked anywhere visible outside of the upload descriptions.

I hope this is the right channel, if not please redirect me! I checked out the Mercury addition last night and I'm wondering if you must do your descriptions through that site now vs using YT Studio? I set up the template to include XYZ in my desc but if I edit in Studio will it cause an issue?

once you import your vids the existing description will be transferred too
I'd suggest editing it in mercury since that's some of the available functionalities (for example utilizing polls or widgets or templates)

once saved in mercury it should update on the vid itself within seconds

I also think changes you make to the vid's description on YT and not mercury will be reflected once the vid import functionality refetches information from your channel

Hey, I already did a quick search and found out that I'm not the only one who is affected by the following issue: when I logged on the website and want to switch to another account to administrate these bot modules, I always get a redirect to streamelements.com
I already tried incognito, deleting browser cache, logging out... nothing is working and I'm not able to modify bot commands for a streamer.

is there a timeframe when this issue will be fixed?

Hi, I was having a mooch at overlays for Youtube as im considering streaming there sometime - I couldn't get the an overlay with the stream chat working. On the overlay widget there is an option to add the Youtube live chat - but nothing shows up. I had a second account in there trying to talk and it shows them chatting but nothing on SE overlay - I even did an unlisted stream from the account to see if thats what caused it, but nothing. Is the overlay widget broken? - Alerts seemed to work fine. Thanks
