As in audio is not synced? See if you need to use this option for your mic/aux audio track -> cogwheel -> properties -> use device timestamps

Youtube has an API delay of 4 hours right now. That should not affect members.

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

I chose to sign up with youtube, Ive set my elgato up and its looking lovely although I wanted to stream on multiple platforms, youtube and twitch. I downloaded restream, i connected restream to my OBS but I click 'start streaming' and it brings a pop up to start streaming on youtube. I cant even stream on youtube for 24 hours as ive literally just made my streaming account earlier today? somebody help me please omg its hurting haha

should i restart? like even though i signed up with youtube restream should still work ye? or is it because i have to wait the 24 hours, maybe restream will only allow me to stream twitch if youtube is running also ? someone help pleaseeeeee

@upbeat narwhal so, there is no current way of resetting counters all at once nor being able to see which counters you are using. However, this is an upcoming feature but I can't give an ETA on when it will be live. The only thing you can do for now is reset the counters manually.

Hey guys, I had my first livestream on youtube today but you know how it is, not everything worked right from the beginning.

I made with streamelements my alerts and also that it should name the follower or last donation. When I got my first donation it didnt update on my stream, there was just 0€ running through my screen.

When I emulated it in my setting on streamelements it updated without any problems.

You have some advice ? Hope I could make my problem clear enough 🙂

@versed tangle if a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

@fluid bison Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

That being said, the live indicator has nothing to do with receiving events in general from Youtube, as apparent by this:
Due to changes by Youtube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from Youtube by their design.

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterward, but not a list of settings.

Whenever I unlink it and try to add it to the other account I get an error that says already assigned to another account. Hello. Someone probably already asked this but I cannot seem to figure this out. Added a 'total sub' widget (that StreamElements made) to my overlay. At first everything was fine. It displayed the correct subs, but when I emulated a sub, it started showing 'sub tips' as my Total Sub Count. Is there a way that I can do a custom widget and turn off the "tips" or only call the total subs?

Side note: I do have a small background in coding, I just haven't figured out this in StreamElemts yet

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

There are some known issues with Google and the OBS.Live login, I would suggest removing OBS.Live and just connecting to OBS with your stream key. Something isn't connecting to youtube, and it might help to check with their support too

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Hello, I'm having trouble getting the Kappagen to work. When I put the Emote image in Custom Emotes they show up just fine but when I go to 'Emotes for explosion' and click select emote, nothing shows up to even click on. I've gone through many tutorials on how to use this but all of them are using a Twitch Account while I have a Youtube account. My friend that has emotes on twitch tried adding one of mine and it did work for them either. No matter the image it would not work. We think that Kappagen only works and connects to Afflict Twitch Accounts since they have no problem, but then they have emotes already approved by twitch. This is a real stumpier I would appreciated any help you can offer. If you need screenshots or video of what is wrong on my end I can give it.

I just created a horizontal chat overlay and need some help to see if this is possible. I basically recreated MrBoost Twitch's horizontal chat and got it working for YouTube. Running a stream right now and it's working great. The only thing I am not sure i we can do or not is add badges to the users. I have a feeling it's in the JS field, but not sure of the YouTube nomenclature versus Twitch's, i.e. it was written as "service: "twitch" so I changed to YouTube but nada. (also, new to streamelements, so I'm sure there are some other things I'm missing....but it works!)

Hey, anyone else having the issue now where YouTube subscribers don't show up and randomly all come in at once in the log and start spamming?

For instance, you can see the time when all these people subscribed but they all pop up at the same time long after they actually subscribe and my alert box gets spammed like crazy where I have to refresh the cache

This has been going on for over a month now. It never used to be an issue

@solid cradle To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.
