Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

Hi, After having used OBS/live to stream to youtube, if I now go to stream I can't stream to fb live or operate streams from youtube studio, because the 'start streaming to youtube' window pops up every time I click 'start streaming' and automatically changes my 'stream settings' to the youtube server and a new stream key'. ........ There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

I have had this issue for a while with the StreamElements YouTube Member goal. When someone buys member it puts every single member that has ever become a member on the screen. It also adds all those people to the member goal. When I try and delete them in the settings thing they don't actually update on the Member Goal widget.

@odd flax Yes you will get the alertbox, but you will need to make a little adjustments maybe you changed CSS on SL and that CSS is no needed to be changed here, it could create more than 1 overlay for each type of alerts and that you don't need, remember the import tool its a piece of code and never will act like a human will do. @slate hemlock There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@old beacon There's no guarantee people have had this setting disabled before subbing. You probably are getting subs but it's enabled and not getting triggered for that reason.

For some reason the number of total subs isn't just the same as my channel (103.000 on overlay and 103.890 on YT).
Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Secondly, in the middle of the stream the "alerts" stopped working (it shows up when a new subscriber arrive).
Is there any specific setting I must do on OBS to the Browser source?

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

I suppose, I need to close one of them, then add.
