I have tried looking through old messages on this topic but have not found the solution. The default subscriber alert sound keeps playing along with the sound I uploaded. How do I correct this issue? Thanks

@abstract birch You likely have multiple overlays open, or perhaps you haven't saved the sound and have OBS open, so old sound in OBS and new sound in the editor. Either way, multiple sound is always the result of multiple active alertboxes.

I unchecked the other alerts and closed OBS. It's working now. So this poses another question. If I set different sounds to each of the other alerts, don't I need them checked too for them to function?

Bear in mind every alertbox in every overlay is individual. Changing one has no effect on any other.

For you to merge your accounts, you need to DM a support staff (me or another volunteer) your JWT token for each account so we can forward it to a staff member to merge your accounts for you as you cannot do it yourself.

Hey guys! I am sorry i have to bother you again with this stuff, but I got another situation - SOME of the fonts I select in the overlay editor don't show up on my OBS preview. They change in the editor itself, but the change doesn't display on the overlay in OBS (yes - I saved). Do I have to install the font in question on my PC or the problem is something else?

Yes, you can use a font on your PC as a custom font. You must have legal license to use the font.

@ebon spear the license on some fonts only allow specific uses. it is not preventing you from using it, it only grants you permission to use it for personal/business etc.
Nethyr was only instructing you to be sure you have permission from the creator of the custom font to use it in the way you're intending or it could land you in trouble down the road.

I have a problem streaming games like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Wolfenstein Youngblood. I add game capture, specific window, select the executable window and screen on OBS is black. Sound goes through. I reinstalled, i also used the 3D settings on some tutorials for Nvidia Control Panel, but still black screen.

- Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
- Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
- Add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements as a Comment Moderator at https://www.youtube.com/comment_management
- When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Hi so I’m having some troubles with my Merch store. I signed up for the beta of Streamelements Merch and when it finally released I had no troubles accessing the store settings from the website but now whenever I log into my YouTube account on streamelements the Merch store doesn’t appear on my home dashboard so I can access/edit my Merch store.

yep, that is how it's supposed to be, it will play on streams overlay with the media share widget and sound will come from there, so you don't get duplicate sound

Having some weird errors. Linked my youtube and imported some overlays from my twitch. But when I use the button to emulate an event in the editor, the preview in the editor shows it, but the OBS browser source for it does not. Things like the hypebos on that overlay show up but don't update until I have obs refresh the cache. Also the hypecup even though in the editor it shows me having it at the far right of the screen, it only shows up in the middle.
I know I have the source correct in OBS for the overlay as when I save it in the streamlabs editor it refreshes. But I can't get things working.
I am assuming there is no youtube chat widget also.
Even if I use the launch button to bring up a browser window in Chrome of that overlay, I don't see the alerts in it, but the editor shows the alert.
Also tried just creating a new overlay versus the imported ones. Place the alert widget in it. Save it. Launch a browser window. Hit the emulate superchat event. Alert pops up in overlay editor, but not in browser window just launched.

If you're only looking at your dashboard, note the "month" dropdown toward the top right. The dashboard does not display totals, only recents.

if you pick one from the #widget-share channel they only way to find out is to click it, or ask the creator in #dev-chat
for all the others, when you are logged in to the website with your specific platform, it will only show those who are available for that platform

Dumb Question, I am trying to add a youtube subscriber goal to my twitch stream(this probably isn't important but thought I would mention it anyway). I logged into the youtube account on SE and created the sub goal overlay and added that overlay as a browser source to my scene in OBS but it doesn't seem to be updating the data on my overlay. Am I missing something simple here?

It counts up only for events that go through the activity feed.
And is just a counter.
The total subscriber widget is tied to your total.
And that will update according to your total, regardless of being public or private.

The members was not working before. Now it is working too well that each time I open its always the members/sponsors that show as recent rather than the real newest/recent in the feed. Thanks. 🙂
