I was logged into the wrong YouTube account when I linked them and I can't figure out how to remove it from Streamelements. I've disconnected it from YouTube's side, but can't remove it from Streamelements.

@light trout Deleting an account is something we have to do manually, but as long as you disconnected the account on youtubes end, we will not get any information for it at all, it will just sit there an look pretty

@versed tangle nonono everything is ok. just trying to understand what we are talking about. he can contact me in any way he wants, if he is using VK as his main social media - i can give that too, this is the most used tool in that area.
we finalized the russian translation etc, added payments and we have multiple russian speaking people here, so we love feedback from that area 😃

@warm topaz If your tipping settings page is white, that would mean a specific cookie is being blocked on the page. Make sure that streamelements-yoink.netlify.com is allowed and not being blocked. In Google Chrome you can check by clicking Secure on the address bar, and going into cookies. You can also access these settings from chrome://settings/content/cookies

It sounds like when you added a source to one of your scenes, you added existing instead of created a new one.

When you do that, it's the same source referenced in multiple scenes. So if you change it one place, it reflects in all the places you used the existing source.

The tip needs to come through our tipping page to be able to alert on it. If you set up your tipping page to use G2Apay, that should support viewers donating through PatTM

If the stream is public, it takes time for it to detect and go online. There have also been issues with YouTube API, that as far as I am aware have not been resolved yet, and there is a chance that your stream will not be detected and the bot wont join

@chrome sedge unfortunatly with youtube, they don't send us your new youtube name when you update it. The only thing I know to try is to log out of stream elements, clear your cache, and then log back in. But other than that, I am not sure. I am not very knowledgable on the youtube end

So I have a big problem now, changed my YouTube channel name from FTWitachi to FTWitachi plays and SE won't update, what's worst is I made sure to claim FTWitachi for a different channel focusing on my non gaming content. Anyway to get my SE dashboard to update to the new FTWitachiPlays account which isn't really new same account just different name. I believe SE is using my new FTWitachi account cause I sub'd to it on FTWitachiPlays and that is now showing up on my overlays.

Every time I go to my dashboard, all that pops up is a white screen. I have tried various different things to try to get it to work like removing my adblocker and turning off my windows firewall. I still am presented with the same problem. What can I do to fix this?

Hi all, I wanted to add SE to my YouTube stream (I already use it for Twitch). However, I didn't know that you could just "add youtube channel" to your existing profile, so I logged out of my twitch profile, clicked "connect with YouTube", and set up some commands. Now when I try to log back in to my Twitch profile and click "add youtube channel" (again, I didn't know you could do this beforehand), it says "The Channel you tried to add is linked to a different account". i dont have a tablet with me. when you open a page in your browser you normally have options that you can open in the browser. there is an option to force desktop site, where it will load the page as if you were on a desktop.

There are four things that need to be done before the bot joins:

Your stream has to be online, and public.
The bot has to be modded
You have to click the Join button from the dashboard
You have to be live more than 15 minutes

put in a name so you recognize what timer this is. then put the message you want the bot to say.

and now choose an interval that you want your bot to say that message. if you want the message to appear every 5 minutes put 5 minutes there. the "chat lines" describe how many messages need to have been in chat before the timer will trigger again. so if you, for example, set this to 5 lines, but in the 5 minutes interval there was only 1 chat line, the timer will not trigger.

But you made a second account for YouTube instead.
So to link it to your Twitch SE account you need to unbind the youtube log in through SE with the link we gave you.

After doing this you log in into StreamElements using your Twitch account and bind YouTube account to your twitch

Hey my stream notifications don’t appear in obs when I am streaming to YouTube! The test commands work fine but I had a subscriber today and the notification didn’t work. My YouTube channel is linked to stream elements, I’m using slobs and I’m streaming on YouTube. Again the test function works and shows a new subscriber but it doesn’t seem to work with real accounts. Any help?

as far as I know slobs is not compatible with StreamElements overlays, they block them

so try it out with regular OBS studio and if u want to have all the extra info on OBS try OBS.Live

You have to be live, not unlisted for the alerts to trigger and for the bot to show up in the channel

#

Youtube alerts are not instant, but they arrive withhin a minute and the delay get's lower with the stream duration

I will test again! I was live when testing earlier. Also I did get the stream elements bot in my chat. So maybe i need to wait a bit longer for the notification. I may have only waited a minute or so

If you have chat lines set, when the interval is met the bot will check the chat for the past 5 min to see if the chat lines are met, if not, the timer will reset. So you would have needed 21 chat lines in the past 5 min. The other thing would be the bot needs to be in your channel for the timer to work, if you did not verify the bot was in the channel responding to commands, there is a chance the bot was not in your channel

Are you live right now? I am not that sure with how Youtube handles things, but as far as I know it might take a while after you go live until your bot joins your chat.

On twitch the bot is in your channel 24/7. On Youtube that is not the case. I could only imagine that you being private might be a problem

You can normally change the sub goal by going into your overlay editor and clicking on "data" in the upper portion of the screen. There navigate to "goals". @versed tangle

You need to disconnect your third party connection from youtube to SE and reconnect again.
Link to remove a linked youtube account from SE account: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
thats the link to remove the third party access. you have to make sure you are logged in with the correct google account before clicking remove.

We do want to add it, but unfortunately, Youtube's API does not allow us to track active chatters or get a viewer list of your channel, in order for us to add points to them
