What you can do is get the seperate Alertbox link from YouTube and a seperate browser source link from Trovo and put them into OBS on the same scene as your Game.

Due to Youtube/Google policy, most accounts are set up with their accounts automatically set to Private. The viewers are the ones who need to change their settings to ensure that it's set up to show their subs so that the data can be gathered.

Because that's how the timer works. Conditions need to be met and then the it will send ONE of the messages, not all of them.
So if there have been 5 unique messages sent in your chat, the timer will begin and then 30 minutes later ONE message will be sent. You would need separate timers for each line or condense it into one timer.

Anyone know why if i rescale my stream resolution to 1440p that it lags a little bit?
I was streaming at 1080p before and youtube setting was at 1440p, but that had allot of issues today [while it was working as intented before].
But now today it had issues that the stream was crashing allot even too i was still live allot. So then i switched it and now the stream is lagging a bit in 1440p

Hey @broken tundra The only way that is possible is by copying the Playlist Link, add a Browser Source to OBS and pasting the Link in the URL Box and then you can crop the source by holding alt and dragging the side bars to fit it to your liking

It's been a while i can't really recommend an alternative as from my own testing doesn't
seem to be a isolated problem for only se so all i can recommend is play around with other bots and see what works for you for the time being

Thank you for replying. I am referring to everything. No activity shows up, no subscriber count, no tips, no super chat, no members. Nothing. It’s as if I’m doing nothing. And also just to reply to what you said all the subscribers do not show private because I see them on other sites such as YouTube studio and stream labs. But I want to eventually unlock SE. pay and stream elements but I can’t because my progress is not being shown. None of the data is being shown at all

Stupid question... I do not see streamelements in my participants list which I assume needs to happen for it to work. I am normally a Twitch streamer so I know how SE works. I assume I need to mod it etc. I let the stream run for a bit, it never showed up. Is there some criteria to get the SE account part of the stream? The backend SE looks good, pop alerts are working.

Not much we can do here, this is a device that most of us never seen. You have to balance the sound that it does not go into red and keep the microphone close to you. You can find a lot of generic guides that explain how to set up microphones, that works with most microphones.

A friend and I started streaming on YT recently and we noticed all notifications are very slow and often times don't even work. The same goes for chat commands. They only work about half the time. StreamElements is in the YT mod settings and the bot is in the chat, it's just very slow and sporadic. Any tips to make them work more consistently?

I just upgraded my SE/OBS, and now I can't find things to enable myself to start streaming on YouTube.
Background: I usually stream on twitch, but wanted to try YouTube because it's pain trying to get discovered on Twitch. i enabled my YT account to stream over the weekend, and finally had a chance to try streaming there tonight, but when I opened SE/OBS, I got a "Upgrade now" pop up and did it. Then i started looking for where to put in my YT Stream Key, and can't find it anywhere! I did the Account Binding to allow SE/OBS to connect to my YT account, but it doesn't seem to be connecting.

Hello, I am encountering an issue regarding StreamElements while streaming on YouTube via OBS Studio. In detail, I have set up few elements that are visible during a live stream. I have a sub count, sub alert, and a sub goal.
The problem is that StreamElements is not refreshing at all. I am receiving new subscribers during a stream, but every element stays the same. At first I thought that it takes some time to update the elements and show the sub alert box, but yesterday during the whole stream I did not get any alert or any element updated (I gained 10 subs over the stream). The sub alert worked only once and that was when I received a notification on my mobile phone as well. Other elements get updated very rarely and always show wrong info.
What may be the issue? I have connected SE to OBS, and also followed the guidelines to create a valid custom overlay.

(im not a staff member but i can help with that one lol) if you go to youtube studio, then go to settings in the bottom left, there will be a tab that says community, you should be able to see who you have given roles to (or not given roles to). also if there are other accounts associated with your youtube account you can manage those roles from the same section just instead of community you would go to permissions. I been working on getting alerts working in OBS Studio using SE. I have done everything step by step from the Stream Elements video and I just cant get it to work live on YouTube. Works just fine when I use the Emulate. Don't know if it matters but I'm broadcasting on a 2560x1440p60 and I have my OBS Studio on my second monitor 1920x1080p but all is connected to the same computer. Can anyone help? Its crazy how it works fine when I click the Emulate but have someone subscribe and it don't work. I have had a ton of people help to fix this issue and nothing is working no matter what I do. Heya. I just created a new overlay for the DonorDrive widget for an upcoming charity stream. However there is no sound.... I have set my usual sound effect, usual volume, and Emulated it. two reasons why that probably didn't work :1 se doesn't count resubs the likely cause or :2 they new subs and not private then due to changes by Youtube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from Youtube by their design.

Hi guys, I am in the command section and looking to assign custom commands to roles. It looks like even on the YouTube side of SE they are still using legacy Twitch roles. Do these map to YT roles. Like I would love to assign chat commands for members.

I'm unable to reconnect to youtube. Instead of opening the login in the OBS mini-browser it's opening up in my regular browser and gives me a "something went wrong" error when I try to log in from there. So I have an issue at the moment. I have several waiting rooms set up at the moment but no matter what I do the chat widget for stream elements is only showing the chat for one of the waiting rooms, regardless of whatever stream/waiting room I plan to use. Is there a way to fix this issue and readjust the waiting room I want Stream Elements to draw from?
I should mention to my issue that this is happening BEFORE I connect OBS to a stream. It just passively connects to one of my waiting rooms and doesn't change even when I connect OBS to a stream.

Another thing I did was delete the waiting rooms causing the problem and that fixed it but the moment I remake them it auto switches back to that stream. As if the last made waiting room is automatically was SE Live reads from.

The URL Needs to be changed manually by us. You will need to create a ticket for us to do that.
The Activity feed will show any data for that url AFTER the update, not before.

Hello, I came here after watching the "COMPLETE Setup Tutorial for StreamElements | 2022 Beginner’s Guide" video from the StreamElements Youtube Channel.
I've done what was required to set up the chat bot, but I cannot for the life of me get it to work. Sometimes the bot will join chat, sometimes it won't, and when it does the commands usually don't work, nor do the timers. I'm hoping someone can help me with suggestions to get it working, because I've tried everything I can think of.
background info: I stream on YouTube using StreamLabs OBS. The only piece I'm trying to get working is the chat bot. Not worried about tipping or alerts atm. The dashboard itself is also always blank, so maybe that has something to do with it?

There are some known issues with the bot. the only other thing I can recommend is the following:
- Go to https://streamelements.com/ and log out
- go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and make sure you're accessing it as your branded account.
- Remove StreamElements as an app that has permission
- Go to https://streamelements.com/ and log in.

Due to changes by Youtube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from Youtube by their design.
Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.
Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.
If a user has it set to Private they will not show up in the activity feed. More info: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7280190

From your primary dashboard, click on the top right and go to settings > click add account for YT / Trovo
Once they’re added you can duplicate between platforms. Note some functionality doesn’t transfer platforms

Hi, I open up OBS Studio and SE.Live pops up with the options to connect with Twitch, YouTube, FaceBook, and Trovo. Iv tried both twitch and YouTube. It then asks me to select my email. I recently moved to SE and the chat bot has not worked. I had a 5 hour stream today that saw two timed messages come through (should have been more) and none of the commands would work, despite it saying that SE bot was in the chat. Chat bot does function. There are steps you can do to get it to function but there are some known bugs. In the response I sent the first steps.
Beyond that you can try the following to get the bot to work:
- Go to https://streamelements.com/ and log out
- go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and make sure you're accessing it as your branded account.
- Remove StreamElements as an app that has permission
- Go to https://streamelements.com/ and log in.
With a character limit in a tweet it can be difficult to explain the full scope of a situation

Hello. I am having an issue since i switched to studio 28. When i am in game the obs studio window freezes. source code importing dose not change anything
Twitch labels are automatically converted into YouTube labels (Cheers(TW)= Super Chats(YT), Followers(TW)=Subscribers(YT), Subscribers(TW)=Sponsers(YT)), however, you might want to edit the label texts.
