I have seen some streamer with an active store with video games bought by them or with keys that they have obtained from some promotion and they have them in that store in exchange for points with streamelements. I have even seen that you can get streamelement points with twitch points, example: 1000 twitch points = 500 streamelement point.

You can do that. In the loyalty store there is an option to create a redemption item that allows you to specify quantity of keys, and paste in the game keys.

hmm when i do emulate follower event no matter what i do it lasts 10 seconds. if i lower the number of emotes to 10, they pop up 1 per second. if i increase it to 1000, they pop up 100 per second. and if i change the emote duration on screen, it makes the individual emotes wizz off the screen faster, but they animation is still 10 seconds 😄

Well... whether they will ban you or enforce it at all remains to be seen. Twitch isn't really known for enforcing a lot of the rules they have in place, but yeah technically it's not allowed. Keep in mind though... this is regarding channel points. If you wanna set stuff up outside of that, I think that is actually completely fine.

- I just added my Youtube to my existing Twitch-StreamElement- account.
- I then copied a Custom Overlay with quite a lot of modification over to my Youtube "profile".
-> Now the Overlay in the Twitch "Profile" can't be edited anymore and gives the message "Uh-oh... Overlay does not exist"
-> Trying to copy it again (this time from youtube to twitch) did not work. The copy now has the same Issue.

Anyone else have trouble resizing alerts to the desired size? The editor is very picky about positioning and depending on placement will line up perfectly, or horribly skewed.
Reminds me of node issues in map making tools for games.
Looks like it's forcing certain sizes on gif resizing. Never encountered this issue in other editors.
The test alert shows up VERY far off from where it's actually supposed to be placed.

@lofty sand @dry hedge @grim pewter You do not make a post directly in Support Ticket. You have to type the ! ticket ( no space) command into any other chat to start the process. Like this chat for example.
Read step one on the #submit-support-ticket instructions very carefully. The actual directions should be in bold or something so people don't keep encountering this issue.

My derp ass, been sitting here taking up peoples time to fix my bot; when in the end I had to reinstall OBS, and the REAL problem was that Twitch had DC'd my verification. An easy fix once found. BLESS the wonderful people who've helped me through the process, cause I was at wits end for a while.

Anyone getting frequent Stream Report suddenly in your email? I'm not sure if it's from my Twitch or Facebook. But I get these stream reports even though I didn't live stream. The report always say I streamead for 25 min and had viewers for the first few minutes and then it went to 0 viewers. I can't post in any helpdesk, idk why.

Hi. I mainly broadcast on Twitch, but I wanted to add alerts on YT (first broadcast attempts), and unfortunately they don't work. I have YT added to my profile. I changed my profile to YT and in overlays (I have all other alerts from Twitch - but after entering info that it does not exist - "Uh-oh... Overlay does not exist"). Being on the YT profile, I create a new overlay - alert. It appears in my gallery but still can't be edited (shows it doesn't exist). What's up ?

There's a difference between using unsupported methods to do things and waiting for documented/approved methods.
Besides it's easier when you only have to focus on a singular platform vs 3 or 4.
Blame kick for it. They're not providing the info for streamelements to use and using a hacky method that could change at any moment would do nothing but cause problems when they change something that forces us to figure out what broke where.
That's your choice to choose what you use.

I think patience is just something we need to practice a bit more here. The team is exploring the opportunity for us to work with Kick, and once things fall into place, I'm sure there will be decisions made at a higher paygrade then all of us.

I have submitted a support ticket instead, however this never asked for my email and I have not received a confirmation email saying this has been received.
