To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

I'm trying to setup two overlays for 2 different scenes for OBS, and I have two separate overlays from Streamelements. However, both these two (One with no frame for webcam, and one with a frame for webcam) have the same browser source. Is there any way to force either one to change the browser source? Since if I switch between the two, the frame for the cam stays on both. I'd like to have two different sources for the two different overlays. Am I missing something?

If I change either one of these separate overlays it updates the other one as well, which isn't what I'm after.

I would make a separate browser source for this scenario, as if they have the same URL then more than likely it's one overlay and and changes will be reflected on any source with that URL.

The URLs for these two overlays are different, so if you have the same one in both sources than you may need to re-add one

Or maybe the issue is that I am using the same "base" for both, but made two different copies of the original, one with, and one without the cam frame.

I took the "Purple Void" supertheme and adjusted it to my liking, than made another copy of the same overlay but only disabled the cam frame.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

I came across this weird thing when if I reconnect stream after it crashes (Sometimes crashes like once few minutes into stream) no audio can be heard on the stream afterwards and I have to stop stream and restart (Strangely doesn't crash after that). I have twitch disconnect protection on and I use the split VOD track too. Idk if it's like the streamelements plugin or something obs or twitch side? Who else has seen this before

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I would now completely switch from Streamlabs to Streamelements because there are always problems with the audience numbers, it remains Z.B. at 1 viewer although more are in it and write in the chat. One just entails writing your paypal email in one spot and activating the other. That only requires info after you make your first withdrawl request.

If there's a lot of stuff in your overlays (or you have lots of overlays) it can take a bit to unload the current and load the new, but two seconds is quite a bit of time.

1. Restart OBS
2. Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3. Stop your stream/recording.
4. Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

There's nothing that would individually increase their chances.

I think you can increase chances for subscribers, or let people buy multiple tickets, but that's it.

He won with 37, 49, 53, 24 and 21 entrants. He's not buying way more than any of the other regulars are. Sure I know new people that follow non subbed for one ticket isn't gonna be the same as him with 100 and sub luck however it's disproportionately finding him as a winner.

There's no way you are going to win that often in a row unless we are talking winning a lotto type of beating the odds.

So now I'm in an odd spot as I don't want to not award the prize but it's going to make it look rigged with the same user always winning if you know what I mean.

Automatically? no. the only benefits of merging the accounts is to quickly switch between them and copy overlay designs from one to the other. The two are otherwise still separate and do not share any data whatsoever.

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Well there are two different point systems. The Channel Points and Loyalty Points. Both tie directly into watching or participating with the channel by donation, subscription and cheering. Both have variables set by the streamer. For the Loyalty points, you can head to Streamelements.com/YOUR_STREAMERS_NAME_HERE and then view what they have for the loyalty store. For their Channel points, that is a bit more standard and set by twitch. You can google/view twitch articles for more info on it.

If I enable Banned words, will Streamelements chat bot have a standard or predefined list with banned words, racial slurs and hate words already integrated in it, or do I have to manually add every possible word that is a racial slur, hate words, etc by myself into the Banned Words setting?

I've tried to install the Se.Live plugin using the macOS PKG installer, but it doesn't seem to have installed properly. I am using a development version of OBS and not the stable one, but it's installed in the same location as it would normally be. to make them be able to create commands and edit them and so on on the website.

You have to go to the website > click on your pfp > channel settings > scroll down > invite new manager > choose the option > create link > send link to trusted person

making someone a supermoderator you have to go to the website > burger menu > Chatbot > user management > add new bot user > insert username and level "super Moderator (1000) > add user

or if you have !level in default commands active you can type !level username userlevel

userlevel is 300 = regular / 500 = Moderator / 1000 = supermoderator :)

@foggy heart Update to my issue; It was 100% an user error. Somehow I managed to have two sources with the same name, and duplicating the source and changing the name fixed my problem.

So I was ultimately changing both scenes at the same time where they had the same source for the browser URL.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Did you make changes to the CSS code? The shark shows up as a default, so make sure you replaced the code for alerts and variations to make sure they all show the proper alert

Depends on the custom code and how it was made. You can try clearing those fields and see if it acts as intended. If someone made the custom css for you, i'd check with them on the correct way to implement it

Hey, I've been using streamelements for a long time and love the custom bot name, recently I had to change my streaming software and had to install SE GroundControl for my Custom BotName, any chance you guys can enable the option there please? I still can't login through my twitch. this always shows up. I tried clearing all browser data and use multiple browsers like opera,chrome,edge,safari and still to no avail.

If I login through anything else than twitch. it goes through. but if I use my twitch this link shows up:

So after I hit my twitch login information it will then ask me to give the 6 digit login verification code. I enter the code and then it redirects me . But then it doesn’t log me in, instead it redirects me here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard?error=Something went wrong.. please try again later

Then puts me back where I started:

I repeat and click connect with twitch again. Same thing happens. Asks my login code, enters it, but never logs me in.

i cant use se.live because i'm on Mac OS X 10.14 Mojave... i need 10.15 ... streamelements was working fine before but i stopped streaming for awhile so now that i'm back at it i noticed this new "se.live" app and non of my overlays work with regular OBS... so am I going to have to switch to streamlabs now since it seems my mac is outdated for streamelements maybe? (i prefer to not use streamlabs)

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

My issue is a little more nuanced. I put a ticket in about it, but its about the actual form to input my name and info. The form on the payment tab of my sponsorship won't accept my name. It gives an error that says "You can't use a church as your name. Put an individual's name". My last name is Church.

Did you get a "Channel already claimed" message?

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.
