I can already tell you tho. After they fixed the name change thing for you. You need to part and join the bot again! Log in and out of the dashboard just reconnect everything "reset" it sort a speak! I'll let you know when they fixed it

Im using the Video on Command widget, i added a video, slowed down the playback time, added a sound to match the speed, saved copied and pasted the url into OBS and the video plays normal speed. there is no audio. When i go back into streamelements the playback speed is reverted to its original speed, everything is still there. The video, The audio clip everything. so essentially my biggest problem is the sound isnt playing from that widget. Any advice?

The first part is a known "bug". You either have to manually add 1 point via the website or they earn it from within chat. This only occurs if they have 0 points.

If you are not hearing your alerts, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Twitch mods don't have that access as far as I'm aware. You would have to have the separate Editor role in their channel to do anything like that. Mods only deal with chat.

When you guys test your alerts with the emulator, do they always work? Or after a few, do they stop sending to OBS? The first few seem to work almost every time, but then the browser source needs refreshed on OBS's side. The emulator keeps working, but OBS does not receive the alert after a few emulations.

Yep! For Twitch. I'm both testing in the emulator and also noticed when live equally, the alerts wouldn't come through. I missed follows, subs, gifted as well as cheers equally the same recently when live, and in the emulator. It seems to work for a few minutes, then stops until I refresh the browser source

I accidentally imported the "leaderboard" stats from Streamlabs and now all the stats are f*#ked.
I never used the leaderboard on streamlabs.. only used Streamelements leaderboard and now everything is wrong..

The only thing you can do is give points manually by heading over to your dashboard > loyalty > leaderboard > give points.

Hello, I have a little problem with the "IgnoredUsers" feature. On the chatbox, Streamelements and Streamlabs are perfectly ignored and don't appear. I tested it with my own username, on the test message + test live, and I had no problem as well.
But I can't seem to be able to "ignore" a twitch bot (used for thanking new follows and such). Looking at twitch way of coding, just writing the custom name (so, like an username) of the bot should have worked... But it's not. He's still appearing on the chat. Does someone have an idea why?

Twitch sub is working and both emotes and free store things work too, only the sub only commands are not. They changed their name when this happened. Its supposed to loop 1 time, the problem is that the beginning of the gif is not display on the alerts widget but it is working correctly in other widgets and in the preview menu, so it is in the alert widget that its not displaying correctly

Gifs played by the alert widget get cached in the browser, so once the alert is triggered again, the gif, if set to not loop, will not start playing from the beginning.
you will need to re-render it to loop
or convert the gif to a .webm
export it or render it as .webm to get a proper start and end of the animation. Hope this helps

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

You click the + under Sources and choose Window Capture/Game Capture with the game open and add it as a source and then adjust the screen size to fit your screen. The reason you need to do this is because OBS will not acknowledge the source unless the source is added to the list of sources

Unfortunately, OBS doesn't work natively with consoles. Only way is you have to stream the console itself to your computer in some way in order to add it as a source in OBS. And You can't stream to Twitch from 2 broadcast sources at the same time.

That's why you're not picking anything up from the capture card. The USB to USB-C cable only supplies power to the capture card. You need to connect it this way Xbox HDMI Out -> Capture Card Input, Capture Card Output -> Computer HDMI/DisplayPort input.

As long as the capture card HDMI cable and the display cable for the monitor are both connected to your PC, your capture card will display in OBS and you will see it on your screen that way.

I had to delete all the default cheers and remake them, that fixed the partial images. The invisible tokens seemed to be a problem with the name of the bit emote that was used. Once you've remade every variation it seems that streamelements will just eat any new variations you try to make, but it looks like the settings still go through. So you can make a new variation with the name of the emote and a bit amount (example: [emotename]100) and even though it wont show up on the list of variations, the settings should still go through!

Hi, I'm going to try to get this resolved again. The issue is originally my overlay follower counter was misreporting that I have 12 followers instead of 41 on Twitch.
I was told by someone who signaled the bot to tell me to reset the goals. The set the follower counter to 0 and refreshing the browser source and overlay editor page doesn't help. If it helps as additional info, the dashboard is also reporting 12 followers instead of 41. (See the screenshots)

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

There are no "best settings".
Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterward, but not a list of settings.

Okay I did find where to reset the session in the activity feed section of the dashboard... I reset it and relogged in like you said, didn't help.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
