So for emotesplosions, some events like bits seem to use other emotes besides what I have selected?

The latest SE.Live update isn't installing properly. When I select "Update", it begins the updating process and closes OBS. But the Installer appears with a window that says I need to close other related applications before the installer continue - one of the applications listed is...the window that appeared telling me I needed to close applications.

If you select "Close Applications" the installation closes itself and doesn't update. If you press the X or Cancel buttons, the installation cancels itself and the log states "User refused to close running OBS components". The update warning appears again next time I load OBS.

(This is the update for compatibility with OBS Studio 27.2.3)

**Solved: ** My OBS version had been updated to 27.2.4, but the SE.Live installer was attempting to install the version compatible with 27.2.3. I went to the SE.Live site and downloaded the latest installer directly. That updated SE.Live to the latest correct version.

I have just looked at this on my webpage and other streamers' webpages (some even use the StreamElements Twitch extension). They all use the same character encoding, UTF-8. So, I would assume that's not the problem.
Also, I'm still getting the "Error 404" message, still not sure why.

Hello, I have OBS+SE.Live and am trying to add a camera in, I tried asking the OBS group, but they won't look at it because SE.Live is installed. and way anyone here cna look at it?
The C922 does work in the Camera and g-Hub apps, but when added to OBS, it will not show anything.

Just recently updated my OBS after some time of not streaming. One of the menu's had the ability to change your stream title and a few other options in it... I cannot seem to find it. The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

No that wouldn't work. So for the sound to trigger it needs to have !redeem {command} at the front. So easiest way to make that work is to have one command trigger by either a key word or typing "!leave" (for example). !leave or simply typing leave in chat triggers a streamelements command that simply puts "!redeem leaving ${sender} has left." that then triggers the sound effect.

  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

It just might be SLOBS blocking the alert from coming in. We do have an import tool to transfer everything, and it is built into SE.Live. The alert emulates fine and i don't see any tipping moderation that would block the alert from showing.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
