hello, you could always change the category and title of the stream with a plugin from obs. The plugin has unfortunately disappeared since the last obs 27.2.1 update and can no longer be added via docks.

I asked on the obs discord about my problem and i get this answere. Is there a problem with obs an se live?

with se.live you can go to stream settings and change titel and categorie, does that also change the title and category on twitch or is it only changed for the streamelements page?

I did it exactly how it is stated here. I even went to my task manager to confirm obs is closed. I logged in to all the needed twitch logins. Closed obs and re opened. The docks didn’t disappear this time but I still had to re log in for the activity feed and quick actions.

If they recently changed their name on twitch, they need to do the command so the bot will register that they have updated it. if that doesn't work, have them sign in to StreamElements and it should work

When uninstalling OBS, it will prompt you about what to uninstall. There should be an option to retain user preferences/settings. You can also export your scene collection and profile from the menu at the top before doing so.

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

so more specifically, when people send me a paypal donation when i am streaming from my laptop an alert with a nice gif and sounds popup so viewer know their paypal donation was received i have all the OBS set up with streameleents and my paypal donation panel , woks good. but when i stream from my phone, and people donate from the same panel, nothing shows up during the stream for me or for the users. is it possible to make it work for phone too?

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I have updated my alerts to include TTS on StreamElements but since I have done so OBS is not picking up the sounds to broadcast to Twitch but I can still hear it through OBS Studio. I'm not sure why this is.

I have had this issue for a few days and tried fixing it myself and I have come to no conclusion in it being fixed.
I have tried deleting the browser source and readding. Turning TTS off and back on and then disabling and reenabling sounds and none of this is working.

Hmm, try to change the server on Twitch, maybe it is connecting to an unstable one. Go to Settings > Stream and where it says "Server" try to change to a new one.

Well, I'm not the most experienced guy to analyse OBS logs, so I would recommend that you reach OBS Discord to check if they can help you on that, Send them the logs. Help > Log Files > Upload Last Log file.
That will give you a link, send that link to them so I think they can give you more details, maybe.

I've created a custom alert box and I'm trying to find a way to force the text under the animation to wrap - I can do this in the SE overlay builder by reducing the width of the border so it auto wraps

But for some reason in OBS it displays everything on a single line and ignores the text wrapping, so longer events like raids/hosts are too wide to fit in my overlay

Is there a way to force the OBS browser source to use the same aspect ratio and force any text to auto-wrap? Thanks

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Coincidentally I've been thinking about "two" notification (situation based) and I think (correct me if I'm wrong anyone) that the way to do that is to have two seperate sources

1. Right-click your OBS desktop shortcut (not the SE.Live shortcut) and navigate to Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)

I have this problem with StreamElements. Whenever I open OBS, SE will not work so no commands or alerts. For it to work again I have to part the bot from the channel and add it again AFTER I closed OBS, otherwise the bot would not run. I only use a custom activity dock in OBS.

I'm a mod for GamerZakh's community and we're looking to migrate off Streamlabs for alerts and over to StreamElements [we tried to make a new alert theme on streamlabs and it decided to just reset random shit for no reason]. 1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

hello so ive done alot of reserch but ive been streaming for 3 years had no problems with bitrate untill 2 days ago when my bitrate has recently gone down to 32 and sticks there when i have 900 down and 500 up

It can be a lot of factors.

• But at first, I would recommend that you change the Twitch server to test, maybe the one you are using is unstable. You can do that on OBS Settings > Transmission > Server
• In case you recently updated OBS, maybe you need to update your graphics card driver as well. Check if you have updated drivers
• In case those options do not solve, open OBS, start streaming and when you find the issue go to Help > Log Files > Upload Current log file. This will generate a link, copy that link and click on Analyse. Check if there is any recommended configuration you should follow on the webpage that will open.
• In case you need more help on OBS, get the log link and check with OBS Discord support. They maybe can help you providing better options. This is the link:

Not 100% if this is the correct channel, but I would like to remove the clip section from my tip page.
I had a viewer tip me, who tried it out and it was not working. I wasn't even aware, that adding a clip there was an option and I've not seen that option in other streamers tip pages.
As far as I can tell, I don't have any options to do remove the "Request clip to share with your tip" section.
Is that correct or did I overlook something?

I have just tried to create those commands on my side and they worked fine.
Probably you did not create the !death+ command correctly. Type this on your chat (changing the XXX for the word you want):
!cmd edit death+ XXX died ${count death} times.

After that, run the command !death+. If that does not work, send a screenshot of both commands setup.

I don't have any other platforms that I stream on, so yes I am sure that I am logged in into my Twitch account and that that is the page that is generated by the Streamelements tipping settings.

If you go to the "other" section, select Media Request, Settings, you can turn media request via tip off. If it's set to tip or both, that will show up.

If you have it set to free it will only activate if you have the !SR command enabled
